It was a thorough success with everything beginning on time and running like clockwork. The potluck supper came first and I've heard that the ladies quite outdid themselves. There was a wonderful program for the children: a baton twirler, a magic show, and of course the jolly old man himself took time out from his busy schedule at the North Pole to attend. His bag was filled with Christmas stockings for the tiny tots and candy for the older children. Games were played and everyone cnioved themselves.
