Santa made visits here and there. The party for the children sponsored by the business men was a great success. Over one hundred children came to visit with Sunta and all received a gift. SDS' at St. Mary's convent in Milwaukee. « City Tops County Business Listings In January, 1963 The activity of the business population in McHenry county during the past year is reflected in a report released this past week by the office of Dun & Bradstreet. Figures fvMty the .Tnniuny reference book totalled 1.513 manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers in this area compared to 1,534 a year previous. During the past year, 726 changes were made in county business listings, including names added, deleted and changes in ratings of continuing businesses. The city of McHenry again topped the listings with 323^ compared to 339 the previous year. Crystal Lake rose from 284 in 1962 to 294, and Woodstock showed a decrease from 22S to 218. Other listings this year compared to the previous January were as fo lows: Harvard, 134 find 141; Marengo, 106 and 109; Algonquin. 102 and 100; Richmond, 57 and 58; Hebron, 27 and 29; Cary, 74 and 76; Fox River Grove, 54 and 44. Each year, approximately- three million businesses are contacted - from the corner grocery store worth a few thousand dollars to the business worth millions.
