That was • the night the mercury dipped so low so the gals didn't stay too lonu lor fear their, cars wouldn't start. On Thursdax. Jan. 16, was well attended by children and adults. Games were played and prizes were awarded making it interesting for everyone. Mrs. Helen Kraskiewiez and Mrs. Ivy Lezak served the refreshments provided by the ttoard of directors which were hot chocolate and doughnuts. The main event was the unveiling of the plague honoring our late board president, William Herzog, and officially calling the west beach the William Herzog Beach. It sure does your heart good to see so many friends and neighbors turn oul for these events and I'm sure Stan Lezak and Gene Kraskiewiez of the beach committee were well pleased. Let's continue to support this fine committee. Vlftltors And Visiting On Sunday, Jan. 13, the Oakfords had June and Arvy Anderson and five of their six children out for dinner.
