Reporter Returns I sure enjoyed my vacation, didn't you? It was just wonderful reading Lois Ryan's columns for these past four Weeks. She writes just beautifully. Thank you Lois for taking over and doing such, a good job of it and for keeping the Eastwood Mannor column in the paper. Blue and Gold Banquet The Blue and Gold banquet was held on Saturday, Feb. 24. All dens were present for the Cub and parent dinner. ^ The honorary guests ,were Mayor and Mrs. Doherty, Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Mclntyre, Mr. and Mrs. Manny Peck, and Mr. and Mrs. Cal Vyduna. Mr. Vyduna received a bronze plaque for his services as committee chairman. Rev. Mclntyre opened with a special prayer followed with a speech by Mayor Doherty. Cub Master Mel Stephenson and Assistant Cub Master Ray Kruger were also present. The Committee men and the den mothers received thank you pins and so did assistant den mothers. Cub mbthers also received Cub charm bracelets. At the banquet Den No. 10 received one year pins and perfect attendance pins. The proud youngsters of this den are Cary Fenner, Jimmy Fultz, Gary Stoll, Craig Sigman, Rick Weinman, Mark Borcovan and Butch Kellogg. He reminds growers who are interested in taking part in the 1963 feed grain program that filing an "intention-toparticipate" form at the ASCS county office is a necessary step, and the sign-up ends March 22.
