Several other persons were unable to attend. Miss Hoffman will become the bride of Mr. John Hardesty on March 23. Hospital Notes Bruno T. Butler is in the hospital at Woodstock recovering from recent surgery, and I'm sure he would appreciate a card or two from some of the home town folks. He will (be there for a little while yet. Meeting The annual meeting of the board pf directors for the American Dairy Association was held in Effingham last Wednesday and Thursday. Pat Hogan was the hostess for their meeting as well as the wives breakfast held on Thursday morning. Mrs. John Hogan accompanied her daughter Pat on her Dairy Princess-Hostess trip. Earl Sonnemaker, and children Randy, Sherry and Jeff. They all had a very good time visiting, especially with the grandchildren, since they had spent the better part of last summer with their grandparents on the farm. It's A Girl!! Mr. and Mrs. Mike Wieser announce (very proudly) the birth of a 6 lbs. 2 oz. baby girl born last Thursday at the Memorial Hospital For McHenry County at Woodstock. Auxiliary News The Woman's auxiliary held its monthly meeting Monday, March 4. The amendment to the finances and dues was read for the second time at this meeting. The third and final reading will take place at the April meeting. Also discussed among the women was a community project. Several ideas were given and discussed. Those ideas that were discussed were very good ideas for a community project. It will probably be decided at the April meeting which of the ideas the v omen would like to do. The monthly prize was won by Marion Leske. Hostesses for the March meeting were Marion Leske, Lil Neumann and Connie Johnson. The next monthly meeting The Pistakee Terrace Women's Auxiliary meeting will will be held Monday, April 1, in the large hall of Club Lilymoor at 8 p.m. Hostesses for the April meeting are Ann Novak, Marge Polinski and Shirley Schuerr. be held tonight, March 14, at the Zamastil home.
