After their lecture they traveled throughout the school answering questions^ about Y.C.S. and their own schools. Sifter Gregory, a Missionary Sister of the Holy Ghost, spoke on Wednesday, March 20, during homeroom period. Janet Dahm a 1962 graduate of Marian, accompanied Sister Gregory on Wednesday. On March 21, the Harvard choral group will present a program in Marian's gym at 10:50 a.m. Quarterly examinations will be given on March 21 and 22. Report cards will be marked March 27 and distributed March 29. On Tuesday, March 13, the student body gathered in the gymnasium for one hour for its first all-student meeting, while the faculty held their meeting in the library. The meeting was conducted by Student Council President Jim Gallagher and Senior Representatives Bob Strohm and Wally Bowman, who briefly outlined the results of a poll conducted by the Student Council, concerning its effectiveness. After this, any student who wishes to present his opinions of things to be done at Marian is invited to do so. Among the topics discussed were the effectiveness of the Student Council; the demerit system; the conduct of the students at the assembly; and the new rule that all students must be in their homeroom by 8:30. The students of Marian wishing our school to be known have been writing our news for every newspaper in McHenry county and several in Lake county.
