Others to attend were, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Williams and sons of Fort Worth, Texas (Mrs. Williams is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Skidmore and came for a visit a week ago; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Malsch and family of Ringwood; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Creutz and ton of Lakeland Park; and Mr. and Mrs. William Creutz from McCullom Lake. ?i Surprised On Birthday & John Hogan was surrounded by host cf friends at a surprise birthday party last Saturday evening. Ila did all the planning without John finding out. After an enjoyable evening of visiting. Ila served a buffei lunch complete with a beautiful decorated cake for John. Sr. HI M.Y.F. Report Linda Low reports: Sunday night, April 28, the Sr. Hi M.Y.F. met for a short meeting. We had an evaluation of the churches we had visited. We discussed the Southern Baptist and Christian Science churches. Next Sunday, May 5, there will be a sub-district rally at Barrington. It will begin at 2:30 p.m. and end about 8 p.m. May 12 the Sr. Hi M.Y.F. will go to Ingleside for the meeting. On April 26 and 27, a retreat war. held at Spring Grove for Ingleside, Mt. Hope, Spring Grove, and Ringwood M.Y.F.'s. Friday night,singing was led by Mr. Combes from Ingleside, then the movie "A Job For Bob" was shown. Discussion groups were then held. Refreshments were served and a very inspiring worship service took place. Saturday, after a peppy baseball game, the movie "Handful Of Ashes" was shown. Another discussion was held after the movie. Lunch, more recreation and an evaluation period concluded the outing. Those from Ringwood Who attended were Donna Low, Leslie Decker, Sue Fos.«um and Linda Low. Celebrate Anniversary On April 26, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kunz celebrated their twentv-ninth wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Kunz and daughter, Robin, of Algonquin called on his folks on Friday evening. The Kunzes had an evening out on Saturday in celebration of their anniversary. Belated congratulations to Gerry and Earl on many years of wedded bliss. Here 'N' There On Wednesday, Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Hawley were lunch guests in the home of their daughter, Mrs. William Reinwall, in Mc- Henry. In the afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Hawley, and Mrs. Reinwall and son were Crystal Lake visitors. Mrs. Fred Bowman and Fred, Jr., attended an organ concert in Wheeling on Sunday afternoon, then to Rolling Mo;irVi\v> to visit frirnrls Mr. and Mrs. Phelpi 'Saunders and Georgia Mary of Syrmore were visitors in the Wiedrich-Wegenor home on Sunday for dinner. In the afternoon, Mrs. Saunders, Georgia Mary and Mrs. Wegener called in the Robert Brennan home. On Sunday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Laursen of Antioch callecf on Mrs. Nellie Hepburn and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brennan. Mr. and Mrs. John Woodward, John and Lou, of Madison, Wis., spent Monday and Tuesday of last week in the L. E. Hawley home before taking a trip to Florida. Little Timmy stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Reinwall in McHenry. Mrs. L. E. Hawley went«-t<j, Chicago with the W.S.C.S. of McHenry on April 17. For a belated Easter dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kunz went to Chicago to Earl's folks, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Kunz, on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Powell of Chicago called on Mrs. Nellie Hepburn on Saturday. Miss Joanne Schmitt and Loren Kelley of Waukegan were callers in the Robert Brennan home on Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. John Skidmore and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Williams and family, drove to O'Hare field and through Chicago on a sightseeing trip, after which they visited in the George Miller home. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Skidmore of McCullom Lake were Sunday dinner guests in the John Skidmore home and spent the day visiting with the Williams family as well. Callers in the home of Mrr. Nellie Hepburn on Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Lester McNeil of Oak Park. Mr. and Mrs. Jake Meid of Chicago were callers in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kunz on Saturday. Butch Leonard was home for the weekend. Butch is a student at Whitewater College in Wisconsin. Jerry Hogan spent the weekend home from studies at De- Kalb University. Mrs. Miles Jerousek, Miles, Jr., and Georgianna from Melrose Park called on Mrs. Nellie Hepburn on Wednesday evening. Another week comes to an end.
