Rescue Squad Calls Several times within the past week or so the rescue squad members were called out. The home of Mrs. Helen Pitzen was one of their calls. They took Mrs. Pitzen as far as McHenry in the squad ambulance. She was transfered to another ambulance which took her to the Woodstock hospital. Two minor car accidents also called them out last week. One on the Bay road and one on Johnsburg road. Late Saturday evening they answered a call which involved a collision of a cat and tractor. One young boy was taken to the McHenry hospital where three stitches were needed to close a wound. That's it for now! Keep those calls coining! CATTLE PKST The face fly continues to be the most important pest of cattle in Illinois, said Dr. Herbert H. Ross, acting chief of the Illinois Natural History Survey. A syrup bait has been developed1 by the Survey for control of the face fly on dairy cattle. A back rubber containing toxaphene is recommended as the most practical control ot this bothersome fly on cattle running pasture.
