Thursday, June 27. 1963 THE McHENHY PLAINDEALEH P»o§ Nlsttm Lakemoor-Lilymoor LAW STATES DOGS MUST BE CHAINED OB FENCED IN Shirley Schuerr 585-2645 Dog are running loose in the subdivision again and are running in packs. Owners please see that your dog or dogs are fenced in, or chained up. There Is a law that says your dog is not to be running loose. Someone is going to get bitten again, or a driver is going to have an accident trying to avoid the dogs.. No one wants to get bitten by a dog, nor does a driver Want to have an accident because of dogs. All I can say is call the dog catcher and have the dogs picked up. The dog catcher is Mr. Jelinek, his phone number is 385-0541. If the owners don't care that much about the dogs, then they should be picked up before someone is bitten or hurt because of them. This means that there will be no regular swimming at the beach until lessons are over. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. thru 1 p.m. The junior life saving and skin diving class will be held from 9 to 9:45, Swimmers class from 9:45 to 10:30, Intermediate from 10:30 to 11:1,5, Advance beginners from 11:45 to noon. There will be two beginners classes. The first from noon to 12:30 and the second from 12:30 to 1 p.m. At the last count 110 children were enrolled for classes and registration will close today, June 27. Last year we had such wonderful cooperation from both the parents and children during lessons. It is the committee's desire that each one will give the same help this year and make this as successful a year for instruction as in the past. Parents are asked to accompany their youngsters to class and then see that the children leave the beach when their class is concluded. In this way the children receiving lessons will be the only ones on the beach and can receive the full attention of the instructor and his helpers. If you have not brought your registration fee on opening day, please bring it down and give it to one of the members of the committee; Mary Mahon, Jimmie Justes, Virginia Lundelius or Chady Ary. Each year brings us closer to our goal ot each child knowing how to swim so that out beaches can be enjoyed and respected and not feared. H. H. P. O. A.
