The boys will leave by bus from the community club grounds at 9 o'clock in the morning. Tickets and transportation will be furnished. Each boy must bring his own food and spending money. I'm sure all the boys are looking forward to this day so we hope the weather man cooperates and gives them plenty of sunshine. New Home Dwellers Best wishes to Stan and Lorraine Freund and son, Dale, who recently moved into their beautiful new ranch home. Also good luck to Loren and Judy Freund who are now residing on the farm vacated by Stan and Lorraine. We hope they have lots of health and happiness in their respective homes. Resident Passes On William Kuhn of Sunnyside Beach Drive passed away in his home last week at the age of 80. Our sincere sympathies to his widow Charlotte and the remaining survivors. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday. Local Team Participates In Tournament Baseball fans will have lots 6f thrills in store when they attend the invitational softball tournament next Saturday evening at 8 p.m. Hettermann's team will be playing at that time. Harry and Lois Thelen and their three children left last Saturday for a weeks stay up north. Mrs. Judy Oeffling and her two sons, Mrs. Beverly Green and her three children and Susan Pechous spent three days camping in Lodi, Wis., recently. While there the group took short jaunts of sightseeing. They rode the ferry boat at Merrimac and visited the rock of Gibraltor. They has themselves quite a time. Susan who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Pechous former Pistakee Bay residents, now resides in Pompano Beach, Fla., and has been spending several weeks visiting in the Green home. He came home to visit his wife, the former Joan Blake of McHenry. She had been with him in Texas until the early part of June. He left early this week for North Carolina and then to Texas where he will be discharged the first part of next month. He plans to return to college in Florida immediately after discharge. Around The Manor Walt and Eleanor Kuck and family attended their boat club picnic at Fox Lake' on Saturday. They had a wonderful time and all the kids came home with a prize of some kind. On Sunday Eleanor's brother and family, the Art Weydes of Chicago, came out to visit. They spent the day picnicking and boating. Tuesday the Kucks spent the day at Brookfield zoo. The kids especially liked the porpoise show. A trip to Campellsport, Wis., was made on Wednesday to help Walt's father, Bill Kuck, celebrate his birthday. They had a dinner and a pleasant day visiting. On Sunday, Dorothy and A1 Eternick and family spent th£ day in Milwaukee. They had dinner with Dorothy's mother and husband, the Frank Eternicks, and then to visit Al's mother, Mrs. Marian Eternick. They also visited Shirley Breneman while there. On Tuesday, Marie and John Dalton and friends, Don and June Hoenes and Scotty and Sue Denny, journeyed to Milwaukee for dinner and then to see the Braves and the Cubs play ball. They had a very enjoyable evening. Wednesday Marie's mother and husband, the John Mizerkas, along with Mr. Mizerka's mother came to visit. The John Barrys had as visitors this last week Lloyd and Betty Line and son of Chardon, Ohio. Mel and Louise Griffeth and family journeyed to Bloomington Jwhere Mel attended the S.A.L. convention. Louise and the kids went to Miller's Park where they enjoyed themselves at the zoo there and kiddieland. They had lunch there and watched the swans and ducks. They left that afternoon after the convention to visit Louise's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Merritt. They also visited her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Sheridan Fitzgerald at Mounds, 111. They spent an evening at Cape Giradeau, Mo., shopping. Left Friday morning and they drove to Owensboro, Ky., and then to Indiana, and on to Martin, Mich., to visit Mel's nephew, Michael McLaughlin, and family. While they were there, they also visited other members of Mel's family. On Monday, on to Benton Harbor, Mich., to visit Mel's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. John Rorick. He has been teaching and giving instructions in religion in this small mining town. Visiting from California is Jack Tinney who is at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tinney. Hospitalized Mrs. Paul Weber underwent surgery at Sherman hospital, Elgin, this past week. Tillie May had the misfortune to fall and break her arm while visiting in Michigan. She is a patient in Community hospital. Paw Paw, Mich. Alice Wagner will enter the hospital next week for observation. Usher* Meet Rev. Edward Lehman and the ushers of St. Peter's met at the home of Phil Rinda for their regular meeting on Wednesday night. There was also lunch and cards. Visit Rev. Eugene Jur.g and his mother. Mrs. Emma Jung, were guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brown the past week. They also called on friends in town. On Thursday they left for Shelby, Ohio, to Sacrcd Heart Seminary.
