ALL FOR THE CHURCH The Church is the greatest factor an earth for the building of character and good citizenship. It ia a storehouse of spiritual values. Without a strong Church, neither democracy nor civilization can survive. There an four sound reasons why every person should attend services regularly and support the Church. They are: (1) For his own sake. (2) For hia children's sake. (3) For the sake of his community and nation. (4) For the sake of the Church itself, which needs his moral and material support. Plan to go to church regularly and read your Bible daily. h's an odd feeling \,nen children start to school As a parang you an tremendously proud and exdted. But you are aleo a little afraUL For the first time, your Johnnie and Suaie are going off on their own. Suddenly, they look smaller than they have since they were babies, and you have an irresistible impulse to run after them. But it's too late for that--so you let them go, with a smile on four lips and a fervent prayer in your heart Later, when the first rush of emotion passes and reason returns, you laugh at yourself. For the truth ia that Johnnie and Susie are exactly where they've always been; in God's care, whether at home, in school, at play, or in churqfc. And, grateful to the Church for this truth, you remind yourself that next Sunday you'll remember to thank God for that can » • • a little mora than usual.
