The weekend of Oct. 4 to 6 been chosen for the next semi-annual circuit assembly of Jehovah's Witnesses in northern Illinois. The seminar on missionary training will commence Friday evening at the Elgin high school. Speaking for the McHenry area delegation, Steven Soviak. presiding minister of Jehovah's Witnesses here, said the Elgin assembly will follow shortly on the heels of the final convention in the Witnesses' "Around the World" series. "This series," he explained, "began in Milwaukee, Wis., in July and will climax in Pasadena, Calif., after highlighting more than ten foreign cities." The Elgin assembly is expected to gather more than 1,200 persons, many of whom will have just returned from the worldwide series. Mr. Soviak further explained that the Elgin seminar will stress individual reaction to the responsibility of the Christian mission to preach the "Gospel of God's Kingdom." "Inasmuch as all in a congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, men and women alike, are active in door-to-door ministry," he continued, "whole families will be present at all sessions." The main feature of the gathering will be Sunday's public address at 3 p.m. Angelo A. Catanzaro, assembly chairman and overseer of 200 midwest congregations, will deliver "The Bible Triumphs in a Scientific World." Lester G. Folsom, circuit minister, will also appear on the program each day. Obituaries . BEATA SIKORA Mrs. Beata Sikora, 94, died Tuesday evening.
