This is a good chance to pick up some useful bargains and help the ladies of the church out as well. Sr. Hi M.Y.F. Report At 8:30 on Saturday Sept. 28, the Senior Hi M.Y.F. journeyed to Mt. Hope Methodist church where we commenced the setting up of a tentative schedule for the coming year. During the morning session, we discussed such topics as "How does M.Y.F. differ from clubs?" "Conduct at M.Y.F." and "What is the Purpose of M.Y.F.?" After lunch we set to work making definite plans for our schedule. We scheduled such things as College Night, study on Parent-Teen relations, and going to see the Passion Play in Waukegan. Much came out at the meeting that will make our fellowship a much better one. We are grateful to Mrs. Baker and the Brenemans for the patieftce and help for this day. Our next meeting will be Oct. 6, when the Palatine fellowship joins us in the program entitled "Russian Roulette." Little Leaguers Attend Braves-Cubs Game Last Saturday a bus driven by Herb Burt and loaded with the McCullom Lake Little League teams along with managers and chaperones left for Milwaukee and County Stadium. They were asked to bring their bus and ticket fare along with a lunch and money for the treat after the season of baseball. The day proved to be a little damp, but didn't affect the cheering for their team. The Cubs won by a score of 4-1. The boys from Ringwood to attend were Kevin Bauer, Bobby Klapperich, Guy Winters, Bobby Brennan, Larry Oonk, Terry and Larry Harvey. There were a few extra youngsters due to some extra tickets. It was announced that the hot lunch program will start sometime in November, with hot dogs and barbecues being served as before. Room mothers were announced, as well as a change in the secretary's position. Mrs. Bob White will take over for the year in place of Mrs. Baker. The next program on the agenda will be the annual Halloween party to be held on Oct. 30. Mrs. Lorraine Johnsen and girls Linda, 18, and Debra, age 5, have moved to Chicago where they will be awaiting the arrival of James Johnsen after finishing up the settling of business in Florida. On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kunz attended the wedding of Miss Jeanette Karasak and Ed Mateja in Chicago. Due to the storm, Mr. and Mrs. Kunz spent the night with Mr. and Mrs. John F. Mr. and Mrs. Freimer of Chicago was a visitor in the home of Mrs. Nellie Hepburn on Wednesday afternoon. On Wednesday, Loren Harrison was a supper guest in the Bob Brennan home. Mrs. Bob Brennan, Bobby, Patty and Linda, were Meadowdale visitors on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Walt Low drove her Grandmother Taylor of McHenry to Iowa where Mrs. Taylor will spend a few weeks visiting with relatives and friends in Fort Dodge and Des Moines. Doris was accompanied by Mrs. Esther Jean (Orr) Tessendorf of McHenry. They spent two days visiting with Shirley (Neal) and Andy Raemaker in Eagle Grove, Iowa, before returning home. Mrs. Anna Reinwall and Mrs. Bill Reinwall of McHenry along with Mrs. L. E. Hawley were visitors in Old Orchard on Wednesday.
