The answer is YES. However, a hunting license cannot be issued to any person under sixteen (16) without the written consent of his futhcr or mother, or legally constituted guardian Another point to be mentioned is that the Illinois Game Code makes no provision for issuance of duplicate licenses to replace those having been lost, destroyed or stolen. In such cases a new license must be purchased. The McHenry Sportsmen's Club will hold their monthly prize trap shoot Sun., Nov. 24, commencing at 10 a.m. at club grounds near Pistakee Lake. The Marian Fathers Club will present this banquet for the fifth year on Sunday evening, December 1 at the school cafeteria. Starting time is 6:30 p.m. Tickets should be obtained soon to assure a seat, Fogarty said. Members of the Fathers Club, coaches at Marian, Conway Shell Service in Woodstock, officers of the club and Fogarty are ready sources of tickets. The Most Valuable player award is presented annually by the Woodstock Veterans of Foreign Wars. Previous winners at Marian include Tom Harding, two-time winner in 1959 and 1960; Mike Purvey, 1961; and Ed Crowley, 1962. Commander Art Schuld said the V.F.W. considers this award one of its finest community service programs for two reasons: 1. It encourages young men to do their very best in playing football, in displaying sportsmanship and in developing leadership abilities. 2. The winner of the award is chosen by the toughest of juries-- the young men he plays with and scrimmages with each week throughout the year. "The judges in this awards program are 'on the field of battle," added Schuld. 1963-64 MCHENRY IIIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL SCHEDULE VARSITY & SOPHOMORE Fri. Nov. 22 -- McHenry at Grant. Sat.
