Then Saturday, Feb. 22, is the day for you and your family. The Community Club is holding their second annual fun fair on that day, from 5 to 9 p.m. ili the Ringwood school. For those who do not know what a fun fair is, I'll try to explain a little. There will be many games for the boys and girls such as; a fishing pond, fortune teller, ring toss and many more. Incidently, there are prizes given at these g&iiies. Also a bake sale with all those goodies like cakes, pies and candies. And the No. 1 attraction of last year; the Spook house! Who knows what may lurk around that next dark corner? A white elephant sale is also on the program. What may b£ a white elephant for somebody may be just what you've teen looking for. How about ai snack at suppertfttie? There's going to be ft good bar featuring barbetues, coffee, pop, pop corn and cake. For nominal fees. There will be tickets sold for all the booths and games, so you Will have to bring idpng some of the jingling money. This is a come , one, come if!, so bring the youngfiters and your friend. The officers and committee workers are asking for donations for the fun fair. Cakes, bandies, pies and any items for the white elephant booth It would be greatly appreciated. You may call either Mrs. Clayton Bruce or Mrs. Lloyd Barker to make arrangements for any items. The baked goods may be brought directly to the fair on Saturday if you so like. Since this is one of the few money making projects for the Community Club of the year, how about having a. good time and helping the Community Club balance get bigger? It goes to a worthy cause, our youngsters! No need to worry about a baby-sitter, fetosg the entire family. Ammons, Urban Missionary for Rock River Conference. A movie entitled "The Word Became Flesh" was shown. A debate also was highlighted. The question was: "Does the M.Y.F. have value for youth?" Gary Lockwood, (McHenry) took the "yes" side and Gwen Heitman (Ingleside) took the "no" point of view. Next week, the M.Y.F. will meet at Nancy Kane's house in Solon Mills. Congratulations to youd Kelly Sichniftt Passes Away Little Kelly Jean Schmitt, lOVs month old daughter of Judy and Leon Schmitt of McHenry, passed away on Thursday evening after being admitted to the McHenry hospital. Kelly is survived by her mom and dad, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Schmitt, grandmother Mrs. Frances Schmitt, as well as a brother, Douglas, and a sister, Kim, all of McHenry, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Bauer were her aunt and uncle. She was also our cousin. Services were held from the Peter M. Justen funeral home in McHenry with burial in St. Mary's cemetery. Sincere and deepest sympathy is extended to the family of little Kelly Schmitt. Valentine Social Auction A valentine social auction will be held at the Barnard Mill Community Center on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 8 p.m. There will be fun and refreshments for everyone. Each lady attending should bring a "Valentine." It can be sentimental or silly; homemade or a purchased one and should cost a dollar or less. Please wrap it prettily and leave unsigned.
