Accompanying them was Brian Stahl, son of Clarence and Lorraine Stahl. The Bells are on their way to join Ardell's husband, Ed, who left several weeks ago and is working in Poway. A "limited lingerie" party was held for Ardell last Wedrtes at the home of Pat Dusthimer. If you don't know what a limited lingerie party is - you'll have to check with someone who was there because I'm not about to tell you.. Anyway - twenty-one guests were there and they all had a wonderful time. was down in bed with,. a high fever and the same Back Among the Living Again We've had enough sickness at our house to last us for quite awhile and we had it all in one week. Last Sunday I finished my column and within half an hour I y/as so sick I couldn't hold my head up. That old "debbil" virus that is going around really hits fast when It hits. I was just getting to where I coulcj lie up for a few hours on Wednesday when my better half arrived back home from California and by Thursday he ha old virus that I was just getting over. So it is catching and if you suddenly feel very tired and start running a high fever - go to bed and stay there and don't go out and spread it to others. Several friends of mind have had to be hospitalized with it. Whatever it is - it's a real "knockerouter." We are both happy to be over it and we don't care if we never see it again. Returns from Arizona Vacation Alice Condren returned last Thursday from a three weeks vacation to her son's "guest ranch" the Lazy Fox Ranch in Wickenberg, Ariz. Alice and her daughter, Mrs. Edward Schell of Mt. Prospect, flew out to Wickenberg Feb. 5. They were there in time to see the Wickenberg "Gold Rush Days" celebration which is an annual event complete with parade, rodeo, panning for gold, and all the trimmings. Alice says she's sorry but she wasnJt able to bring back any gold. She probably lost it all on her trip up to Las Vegas where she and her daughter went for several days before returning home by plane on Feb. 19. She had a wonderful time and thinks maybe she'd like to do it, again befofrt e too long. Some years, June busts out all over: other years, it just Wips in. G.E.
