We also express get-well j wishes to Virginia Hodges who ' just spent 3 weeks in the hospital. She had a pinched nerve irr! a slipped disc among other things and has had to br- in traction. She is now at home but will still be in traction for 2 more weeks. I'm sure she would like to have visitors and cards from he* many friends and neighbors. Get-well wishes also go to Nancy Matthews who blossomed cut with chicken pox last week, and to all the other children around who have this or any of the ether childhood diseases. The occasion was a pajama birthday party in Jo Ann's honor. The group was determined to beat the record of staying lip so they must have, as no one slept a wink all night. . The girls spent Friday " night playing records, dancing: eating, playing darts and Bumper pool and telling wierd ghost stories. Mom, JO, gave up at 2 a.m. and tried to get some sleep. Very early Saturday morning three of the girls had to be in towtr to sell Girl Scout cookies and the r.hfrs were frolicking arojnd in P. J.'s curlers and what have you when a phone call from the girls choir nun came, time 9:35--would the girls sins for a 10 a.m. funeral mass, was Sister Concetta's request. Jo reports, curlers, pajama's etc. went every which direction as the girls ate and got dressed. Jo had them in church at 1 minute to 10. Even tho clad in slacks, the girls did a fine job of singing and their voices had been in use all night. During the day this same group had beeri guests of Ann Herzog. They all worked on the Swedish dishes that Ann is making and also found time to get in card games. Saturday evening Edna and Tom Hountras, Delia Julian and Ann Herzog were pinochle players at the Mandziara home. Heard it was a wonderful evening.
