We will participate in a picnic and swimming party at Pell Lake. ..XJ^toas also decided to have a guestv-.speaker •.. for the picnic but due to some little league game in Genoa, it has been postponed until August 7. Spectators: You are more than welcome to come and cheer for our local team. All games are played at Genoa City, Wis., diamond. Wayne Anthony Brennan Baptized On June 7, Wayne Anthony, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Brennan of Twin Lakes, was baptized in St. John's church in Twin Lakes with James Wegener and Rita Kwiatowski as godparents. Following the ceremony, dinner was served to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brennan, Mrs. Nellie Hepburn, Mrs. Jim Lay; Mr. and Mrs. James Wegener and son, °Freddy, at the Kenneth Brennan home. Teen Club - Activities Monday, the Teen Club held their installation of new officers for the coming year. Outgoing president is Don Klapperich, with Bonnie Bruce coming in. Darrell- "Barker is being replaced by Ed Erwin as vice-president. Secretary and treasurer was Wanda Tonyan, with Susie Low taking on secretary duties and Rose Steran dio taking over as Treasurer. Coming events for the Teen Club are a car club, a car wash and an archery night. Watch for further details on the dates for events. Here 'N' There Mrs. Jerome Tonyan held a home party on Thursday evening with a group of ten attending. Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Hawley have returned home after spending a week on a fishing trip at Lake Manakagon, Wis. In honor of Donna Low's graduation, the Thomas side of the family had a get-together at the home of her parents, Mr. and -Mrs. Walt Low, with fiftyfour persons attending from Crystal Lake, McHenry, Riverside, Hinsdale, LaGrange and Yorkville. The previous Sunday, friends and relatives from Woodstock, Harvard, Richmond, Wonder Lake, McHenry and Ringwood gathered in the Walt Low home for Donna's graduation. On Sunday afternoon, Mrs. Nellie Hepburn, Mrs. Ruby Shepard, Will Claxton, Mr. Hack and Frank Kempfer visited Mr. Hack's factory in Zenda, Wis. Loren" Harrison was a supper guest in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Brennan on Thursday evening. Mrs. Viola Low spent Sunday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. .Walt Wilcox at Woodstock. On Tuesday evening, Mrs. Roy Doss, Mrs. Ray Frazier, Mrs. Boyd Dowell and Mrs. Ruby Shepard attended the Eastern Star in McHenry. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Sody of Kenosha visited in the home of Mrs. Nellie Hepburn home last Sunday. Mrs. Nellie Hepburn and her daughter, Mrs. Jim Lay of California, spent Wednesday afternoon and evening in the hpme of Mr. and Mrs. John Blackman and family in Antioch. Mrs. Lay has been spending the past two weeks visiting in the Hepburn-Brennan home. On Tuesday, she will return to her home in California. Mrs. Mary Butler spent a few days last week with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stanek, in Whitewater, Wis. Mrs. Ruby Shepard and Mrs. Nellie Hepburn were Woodstock callers on Thursday afternoon. Will Claxton of McHenry spent Sunday in the home of his sister^ Mrs. Ruby Shepard Mrs. Jim Lay of California visited with her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Webster Blackman, in Richmond on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Shepard and family of Atlanta, Ga., arrived on Tuesday in the home of his mother, Mrs. Ruby Shepard. They will spend a week visiting in Ringwood before returning home again. Breneman gave a short speech followed by Leslie leading the M.Y.F. benediction for the last time as president. Later refreshments of cream pies, coffee and punch were served.
