Admission is a dozen donuts per family. There will be pop, cider, coffee and donuts for all. You still have time to get up a costume, so start thinking and working on one. It's much more fun to be in costume, and let your friends try to figure out just who you are. Bridal Shower For Miss Hogan On Sunday afternoon, Miss Pat Hogan was the guest of honor at a linen and personal shower held at the home of Miss Gail Marquart in McHenry, with the bridesmaids as co-hostesses. There were thirty ladies present, and presented Pat with many lovely gifts. Refreshments were served to all. Pat will become the bride of Tom Parsley on Nov. 28th at a solemn high Mass at St. Patrick's church in McHenry. M.Y.F. News Last Sunday evening the M.Y.F. had a program on "Can A Bartender Be A Christian?" which Betsy Fossum led. During the next year, the M.Y.F. has planned three money- making projects. They are a pizza supper, a bake sale and a hootenanny, for sometime in the spring. Next Sunday, Oct. 25, we will be taking a church tour in Evanston and Chicago. We will be leaving between 10:30 and 11 a.m. right after church. First we will be going to the Temple in Evanston, then on to the Chicago Temple and the Chicago Synagogue. Everyone is asked to bring their own lunch. The following Sunday, Nov. 1, Susie Fossum will have the e, program on "Sex and The Christian Person". Your M.Y.F. reporter, Sharon Baker. Mrs. Andreas is 79 years old, and in good health. On Saturday. Mrs. Ruby Shepard and Mrs. Nellie Hepburn called on Mr. and Mi's. Henry Siegert of Mineral Springs in McHenry. Alice Peet attended a pink and blue shower at the home of Mrs. Bob Low in McHenry for Mrs. Bruce Harrison of Greenwood. Mollie Harmes of Twin Lakes, Mrs. Ruby Shepard and Mrs. Nellie Hepburn attended the funeral services for Mrs. Stocken of Wilmot, Wis., on Tuesday. To help Margo Andreas celebrate her birthday on Sunday, her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Andreas, entertained the family at a dinner. Attending were; Mr. and Mrs. Duane Andreas and family of McHenry; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Huemann and family of Johnsburg, Mr. and Mrs. John Smith and family of Mattson. Also attending was Miss Trudy Oonk. Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Dodd spent the weekend visiting with their son and his family, Helen and Roy Dodd, and grandsons, Roy, Jr., and Bobby at St. Louis. On Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Page called on Mrs. Ruby Shepard. Mrs. L. E. Hawley was a Chicago visitor one day this past week. On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Nelson of Wonder Lake took Mrs. Ruby Shepard and Mrs. Nellie Hepburn to dinner at Elgin. The busy season has once again rolled around. It's that time of the year for storm windows to be put on and the gardens readied for winter along with all those leaves to rake up. Just remember to take it easy. The Everetts purchased the B. T. Butler home on Ringwood Road. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Branson and family have moved into the Welter Duplex during the past week. Their new home is on Barnard Mill Road.
