There will be a costume parade, games and prizes and hot dogs and pop and hot chocolate will be served. Start thinking about those costumes as the best ones will be chosen for a priz<\ In case of rain the party will be held on Sunday afternoon. This affair is a joint effort of the SSAC Club and the McHenry Shores Club. Pinky Pinkonsly donated all the candy for the children. Wouldn't it be great if this wonderful weather lasts, until then, somehow it always seems to rain and get cold for Halloween, but maybe we will be lucky this year. You mothers who read the column teli your children and have them tell their friends as some of them don't get the Plaindealer. Danee A Big Success The Harvest Hop dance held last Saturday evening was a success in every way. Mrs. Lucille Jacobs and her daughter's husband, George Darmody entertained the folks with a fast Charleston during a lull in the dancing and Reva Peters and Jack Schramm's sister, Shirley Smith, from McHenry sang for the gathering and from all reports both girls have lovely voices and their numbers were enjoyed by all.
