Illinois Education Astociation Lawyers Offer Voter Service The 1964 general election to be held on Nov. 3 will involve several unusual features. This statement was released today by Robert J. Leali, president of the McHenry County Bar association. In order to explain voting questions which voters may have, Leali announced that members of the association, at its regular monthly meeting, have volunteered to speak to o r g a n i z a t i o n s and clubs throughout the county on the subject of the 1964 general election. Leali explained that speeches by these lawyers will, of course, be non-political. He added that the speakers will exhibit sample ballots and will explain voting mechanics and other voting requirements. This,\he^.j&xpiained, is another public service of the McHenry County Bar Association speaker's bureau. In other business, William J. Gleason, secretary of the association's Court House Facility committee, reported a meeting has been held with the McHenry county Public Building commission. He said that the commissioners have made inspections of new court house facilities in Janesville and Elkhorn, Wis., Peoria, and in several other cities, with a view toward determining the most adequate kind of court house for McHenry county. The Bar association, through its committee, has pledged its complete cooperation with the commission, and Gleason reported a fruitful exchange of ideas between the two groups. He said that the commission welcomes the cooperation of the Bar association and it is expected that a pleasant relationship will continue to exist between the two groups.
