Zriny will make their home at 7911 Oakwood drive, Wonder Lake, after their return from a wedding trip through the West. Mr. Zriny and Miss Kathleen Phelen were married by Rev. Fr. Main street and the brittegroom is the son of Mr. an# Mrs. Charles Tonyan of 3321 Venice avenue, McHenry. Attending the bride were Rej*ina Celette and Miss Susan Conway, both of McHenry. Robert Zriny and Mike Phelan were best man and groomsman, respectively, for the groom. Both young people are graduates of McHenry high school. Conway, 3720 West Grand avenue, McHenry, has been cited for outstanding performance by State Farm Insuranoe companies and will be honored at a three-day national convention for company agents and wives Nov. 16 to 18 at the Conrad Hilton hotel in Chicago. At a series of business meetings Mr. Conway will be briefed on company and industry affairs and will have the opportunity to participate in round table discussions. PASS MILESTONE The Commonwealth Edison- Public Service company system this week passed the 2,000,000 mark in number of residential customers. The electric system now has more than 2,215,000 customers of all types, including industrial and commercial. The new residential service milestone was reached 36 years after the one millionth household was added to the power company's lines. COMPLETES COURSE Milton Voight, 8901 Memory Trail, Wonder Lake, recently successfully completed the graduate course of the fraternal sales training program. To become eligible for the graduate training. Voight had earlier completed two preliminary training courses. He is an area reprentative for Aid Association for Lutherans and a member of the Edwin Brandt Agency of E. Dundee. HOME BUILDERS OFFICER Officers of the Home Builders Association of Chicagoland X.HBACJ were recently elected for 1964-65 and they include Roger Ladd, president of Ladd Enterprises. The 500-member organization named Ladd as treasurer and John A. Stastny of Stastny Builders in Berwyn to his second term as president. In other moves the association elected Ladd to a three-year term on the HBAC board of directors. In addition, Ladd was also elected to serve as a national director of the Homebuilders association. This organization creates national policy for its 44,000 members. It also allocates funds for the research and the development of better products and methods, the object being to find a breakthrough in the cost of housing. The NAHB is also responsible for maintaining favorable legislative conditions for home ownership. The HBAC is embarking on new programs to provide the home buyer with a set of standards. ,A registered builder program recently instituted by the HBAC will provide the home buyer with a method of arbitrating any complaints agarnst a builder.
