PISTAKEE TERRACE Jerry 385-7250 Patula Family Welcomes Son On Nov. 19, Mar-cia and Val Patula were blessed with a son, Robert Scott, who weighed in at the McHenry hospital at 8 Jbs. 1 oz. Ricky was anxiously awaiting his father's arrival home, so he could help mommy with the feeding and other chores. The Patula residence was buzzing with company the past week with everyone trying to get a glimpse of the baby. Skating Party The Cub Scouts skating party at the McHenry Roller rink was a success and the following families from the Terrace were present: The Richard Stulls, the Frank Kaisers, the Jerry Connertys, and the Ron Wiggermans. ' - Travel To Turkey Farm The Johnsburg public school kindergarten traveled to a local turkey farm for their field trip and the following children from the Terrace attended, Lanee Toepper, Brad Wiggerman and Brent .Dack. The children were then asked to bring an nipple to school and their teacher proceeded to instruct them in making a centerpiece in the form of a turkey. Surprise Party A surprise birthday party was held in honor of Tom Elder at the home of his sister, Mrs. Millie Mondl, on Tuesday evening, Nov. 24. Tom was surprised by the following guests, Mr. and Mrs. Cy Martin of Fox Lake, Judy and Butch Felmeten of Lakeland Park, Danny Turner, Bernice and Bob Froehlig, John and Jan Grange, Mike and Evelyn Coffee and Vern and Millie Mondl. Terrace Tidings Thanksgiving dinner guests at the Benoche home were Ruth and Andy Stopar of Chicago. To keep the holiday going the Benoches visited their nephew, Peter Gerali. who recently became a dadtjly. Pete's wife presented him with a fine baby boy named Albert Michael. IHome for the Thanksgiving holiday are Janice and Karen Bush, who joined their parents for a festive dinner. Visiting the James Hess home for the holiday were Connie and Bob Hansen and their children, Peggy and Jeffery, Sally and Eddie Baranowski and their children, Eddie and Frankie, Arlene and Dick Pryblyski and Dickie of Roselle. On Sunday Jim and Mary w e r e t h e g u e s t s o f their daughter and son-in-law, the Dick Pryblyskis of Roselle, for dinner in honor of Jim's birthday. Thanksgiving dinner guestg at the Robert Rabb home were Marion and Ralph Tucker and daughter from New York, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Witek and Judy and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Adair and Sheryl. Marion and Ralph Tucker and their daughter, Ann, have been visiting with their folks and will return to New York this weekend. We wish them a safe and happy return home. Spending a few days visiting the Seliga home were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Wojnarski and f o u r c h i l d r e n . T h e y w e r e Thanksgiving dinner guests and on Friday visited Lake Villa and surrounding areas. The Frank Kaiser family visited Pat's Aunt, Miss Marr, at Whitewater, Wis., where a family Thanksgiving dinner was held. Tuesday afternoon guests at the Mitch Sabaj hou&e were Jerry Dicks, Mary Jakubicek, Pat Merhaut, Sherri Graziano, Janice Cynor, Anna Erickson, Grace Gavins, Barbara Bargo, Virgie Pradelski, Jean Rowlers and the hostesses, Bonnie Sabaj. Thanksgiving dinner quests at the Sabaj home were Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Steimle. and family and Mr. Steifnle's mother and father-in-law. Bonnie's Mom, Mrs. Louise Jankowski. was also present and will be staying for a few days to visit. The Kurowski family journeyed to Chicago for the First Holy Communion of Patricia Brzeski. Patricia's parents held a dinner for relatives and friends at a Chicago restaurant which lasted until 4:30. Afterwards the Kurowskis visited with Clara's Sisuer, Mr. and Mrs. James Caraher and family. The Len Toepper family celebrated their Thanksgiving at the home of the G. J. Nelsons of Salem, Wis. The George Krickls were dinner guests of the Senior Krickls in McHenry. The Stahlmans' Thanksgiving guests" were the senior Stahlmans. The Roy Erickson family traveled to Niles to be the dinned guests of Roy's sister, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Eickhoff, at which time the entire family gathered. Thanksgiving at the Greggs included Mr. and Mrs. Harris of Pistakee Highlands, the Krauses of Glenview and the Emshiemers from Cary. George and Wilma Stader's recent hunting trip to Metroplis was a fruitful one in as much as George got his deer. On this trip George and Wilma were the guests of Earl Bowen and family. George and Wilma Stader were Thanksgiving guests at the new home of Fred and Kate Ritter. Holiday dinner guests at the Cal Vyduna home included Grace's brother, Mr. and Mrs. Fredicks Janssen, of Metamora, Mr. and Mrs. A. David of Branesville, Minn., who visited from Monday thru Saturday. Also present were the George Vydunas of Oak Park, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Vyduna, Randy and Scott of Elmhurst, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Oaks, Bill and Georgie of Wheeling. The Pradelskis entertained Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Reymann and three children from Wonder Lake. The Piitchard family journeyed to Chicago to be the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fillitti (Bill's folks). Bill's grandfather, who is about 90, was also present for the dinner. Donna and April Piitchard were t he weekend guests of Grandma and Grandpa Fillitti. Vern and Millie Mondl were dinner guests at the home of her daughter. Judy, and Butch Felmeten and son, Michael, in Lakeland Park. Dinner guests at the Davidson home included Mr. and Mrs. Hack and Mark and Mr. and Mrs. Campagna. Also home for the occasion was Dan. Dan's guests were Wayne and Bob. The Deppmeiers were the Thanksgiving guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hillman of McHenry. The Kern home has been buzzing for the holiday with the arrival of -Donald and Loretta Kern and Donald, Jr.; Karen and Regina of Philadelphia, Penn. Arriving from Cleveland, Ohio, were Francis and Marg Kern and their children, Noreen and Joyce. Arriving from Columbus. Ohio, to make the Mecko Thanks* giving holiday complete wer§ Mr. and Mrs. George Mecko with their daughters, Kathie and Veronica. Pat and Tom Merhaut, were Thanksgiving dinner guests at the home of Maryann and Harry Olsen of Oaklawn. On Sunday Pat and Tom Merhaut were football fans at Wrigley field and saw the Bears and 49'ers play. After the game they were the guests of Ron Lamberg and Linda Haiz for dinner. Thanksgiving at the Zamastils started out with church services, and then dinner at which time guests included Mr. and Mrs. M. Phillips and family of the Terrace, William Zimmerman of Addison, Barb's Aunt, Emilie Roberts, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zamastil of Wheaton. At the Dick's home thing? have been bustling. On Sunday Bob, Jerry and Mary attended the christening of Mary Victoria Thiel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Len Thiel of Chicago. After the christening Jerry's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Szydlowski, accompanied them home for the week. On Thanksgiving day, guests beside Mr. and Mrs. Szydlowski, were Mr. tiiid Mrs. Raymond Dicks and Leslie and Susie of Libertyville. At 3 p.m. Thanksgiving clay, Mom and I attended the wedding of Eleanor and James Harlow (my cousin> in Wadsworth. On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Szydlowski returned home, and Bob, Jerry and Mary attended the installation of the Lady Bugs of Eager Beaver Circle No. 14 M.O.L.B., at which time I will become the new Lady Katydid ( Vice President). Birthdays Celebrating birthday number 4, on Dec. 4, will be Richard Stull, we wish him many happy returns. On Dec. 5, Rodger Weiss will receive our best wishes for his birthday. On Dec. 7 Steve Phillips will be celebrating his thirteenth birthday, we hope he has a wonderful day. On Dec. 8, Frank Jakubicek, Jr., will celebrate his second birthday. We know he will have a day filled with excitement. Dates to remember in the Terrace, on Dec. 10, the Ladies auxiliary will hold tjieir annual Christmas party at the home of Pat Merhaut.
