Obituaries BERTHA HEINZ Bertha Heinz, 91, of 3819 E. Lake Shore Drive, Wonder Lake, died at Harvard hospital March 8. She had been confined there for about five days. Mrs. Heinz was born in Germany April 17, 1873. , Survivors are four children, Mrs. Albert (Mildred) Horn, Sr., of Wonder Lake, Mrs. Roy (Genevieve) Burgess, George Dickman, Sr., and Alfred Heinz; also thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and six great-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Arthur Kode and Erwin Heinz. Jhe body rests at the George R., justen & Son funeral home, where services will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning, followed by interment in Evergreen cemetery, Evergreen Park. • . . Rest Home, where she had been a patient for six months. Her husband, William, died in 1962 and she was also preceded in death by a brother and four sisters. Mrs. Yerkes is her only survivor. ON DEAN'S LIST A total of 297 Northern Illinois university students were named to the dean's list first semester with grade-point averages of 3.5 or above. Among them was Christine Oleszczuk of 7104 Chippewa Drive, Wonder Lake who was one of fourteen ireshmen maintaining an "A" average. RAYMOND MURRAY Raymond E. Murray of Ben-, senville, 111., father of Mrs. William Bolger . of McHenry, died last Thursday, March 4, in his home of a heart attack. He was an engineer. Besides Mrs. Bolger, he is survived by his wife, one other daughter, six grandchildren, a brother and a sister. Masonic services Were conducted Saturday in the Geils funeral home, with private bui ial. ANNA D. RINK Mrs. Anna D. Rink of 4215 E. Lake Shore Drive, Wonder Lake, died March 3 at Memorial hospital, Woodstock, where she had been confined for five days following a stroke. She was 75 years of age. Mrs. Ririk was born Aug. 10, 1889, in Germany. Since the death of her husband, George, in 1956 she had been living with a son, George, at Wonder Lake. Another son, H. W. Rink, of Peoria also survives. The body was taken to the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home and then transferred to the Creamer chapel at 507 S. Chestnut Street, Kewanee. Services were held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning, with burial in Kewanee cemetery. ALEX K. DUNCAN Alex K. Duncan of 3012 W. Still Hill Drive, McHenry §hores, died Tuesday evening, March 2, at the Lake County Sanitorium, where he was confined for only five days. Since the death of his wife, Ellen Murray Duncan, in February of 1963. he had been in a Zion nursing home. Mr. Duncan, 84, was born in Newmilns, Scotland, Sept. 22, 1880. A retired executive of a food chain store, he" had resided in McHenry for about ten years. Survivors include two sons, Andrew of Kenilworth and Hugh D. of Carbondale; also one grandchild. Private services were held Friday at 2 o'clock at the Peter M. Justin & Son funeral home, with burial in Woodland cemetery. ARTHUR ERNST Private services were held Monday afternoon from the Drake funeral home in Park Ridge for Arthur K. Ernst, 80, of 5604 Meadow Hill Lane, Pistakee Highlands, and 225 Highland Avenue, Chicago, who died Friday, March 5, in his Chicago home following a stroke. Burial was in Ridgewood cemetery, Des Plaines. Mr. Ernst was born Oct. 25, 1884, in Germany and came to this country at- the age of 21. He was a retired lithographer. Mr. and Mrs. Ernst celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in June of last year. Survivors are the widow, Clara; three daughters, Mrs. Claire Stratford of Chicago, Dorothy at home and Mrs. Helen Ries of Des Plaines; also one granddaughter. / BLANCHE ADAMS A funeral Mass was sung at St. Mary's Catholic church, Woodstock, on Thursday for Mrs. Blanche Adams, 80, who resided with a niece, Mrs. Blanche Yerkes, at 5308 Marshall Drive, Wonder Lake. Zientek, Jr., 40, of 5009 N. Memory Trail, Pistakee Highlands, who passed away in McHenry hospital. Mr. Zientek was born Jfuly 18, 1924, in Chicago. He had resided for the past four years in Pistakee Highlands, and worked as a cable foreman for Western Electric, The deceased was a veteran of World War II and belonged to the American Legion Roosevelt post in LaGrange. Survivors are his parents, Myrtle and Walfer Zientek, Sr. Services were held Wednesday afternoon from the George R. Justen & Son funeral home, with interment in Elmwood cemetery, River Grove. FREDERICK W. JOHNSON Frederick W. Johnson, 67, of 1109 Jasper Drive, Whispering Hills, McHenry, died last Friday, March 5, at his home, where he lived for two years after moving from Edison Park. Mr. Johnson was born Oct. 19, 1897, in Stockholm Sweden, and came to this country at the age of 17. ! The deceased was retired from the building trade. Mr. Johnson was well known for his service as Republican committeeman from the 17th precinct. -'Affiliations included membership in the Masonic Lodge, AF & AM No. 1005, Chicago. His only survivor is hi? wife. Pearl. The body rested at the George R. Justen & Son .funeral home until 1 o'clock Tuesday, when Rev. Doenecke of Mount Hope church officiated at last rites. Burial was in Acacia cemetery, Chicago.
