She was guest of honor at a familydinner on Sunday, March 28, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Marshall and Lucille Jacobs. Also attending the dinner was her husband Richard Ristow, and granddaughter, Lola, with husband, -.George Darmody. On Sunday, April 4, Mrs. Ristow was taken out to dinner by her husband All concerned thought that this birthday should be a special one and nobody would let her do any cooking. Woman's Club The Pistakee Highlands Wo men's Club held its monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 31, at the Community Center with an attendance of thirtysix members. The hostesses for the evening were: Joan Megley Bess Herman, Mamie O'Neil and Vi Krispin. At the- April meeting a "Grandmother of the Year" will be chosen. All grandmothers of the club identified themselves at the March meeting. The ladies are: Toots Spankuch, Emma Rosengart, Frances Brott, Helen Benatti, Anna Cohrs, Louise Jameson, Edna Perchke and Marge Moreth. Good luck to each and every one of you. The choice will be a hard one because everyone of you are the best and I'm sure are just wonderful grandmothers. The nominating committee gave their report and we're sorry to say were only able to secure two to run. They are Pearl Pederson for secretary and La Verne Server for treasurer. Nomination came from the floor and Mamie O'Neil will be on the ballot for president and Pat Siciliano for vicepresident. They will all run unopposed. After the business meeting " the members enjoyed the Artist Showcase. Some of the mem- * bers brought a prize possession from home and showed it as well as giving a little history of it, and believe me there were some very interesting items. Those who did not bring something were fined. On Wednesday, April 14, a 11th District County meeting will be held at the Pistakee Highlands Community Center (Red Barn).
