The hours will be from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. A .$1 deposit wiill be required at the tiime of registration for each child taking lessons. The remaining fee will be due before July 6 when classes will begin. This cost is determined by the number of children, enrolled and covers the cost of hiring a qualified instructor. A committee from the Woman s Club does all the work of contacting an instructor and keeping the records and contacting mothers for beach duty. Lessons will be on Tuesday and Friday. If your children have cards from last year you are requested to bring them along at the time of registration. Lutheran church will have a vacation bible school with buses coming into Holiday Hills to pick up the children. The first session will be held next Monday, June 14, with the bus stopping on Cedar and Tower for the first pickup at 7:50. Please note that this is ten minutes earlier than last year. While there they took in the Lincoln Memorial and Lincoln's (tomb, thereby combining historic education for ithe children along with a weekend1 of fun and relaxation. > Double Celebration For Malstroms Bernice and Dick Malstrom spenit a happy an'rl extremely proud weekend recently. On May 23, their son, Dick, graduated from Wisconsin State University at LaCrosse, Wis. The second big event was the baptism of their fourth granddaughter who was just one week old. The baby was named Juli Ann after Bernice's grandmother, the baby's greait, great grandmother. Dick, Jr., and his wife are the proud parents of three other daughters, Jenn, Leza and Cary. Congratulations to Bernice and Dick who certainly have every right to be proud of their Blue Bundles Last week was the week for boys at McHertly hospital and two of those boys belong to Holiday Hills families. She passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 2, leaving her son, Jack, three grandchildren, Jill, Jqy and Joan. The funeral was on Fri- <iay, June 4, with interment at Free Sons Cemetery in Chicago. Surprised - Twice It will be a long time before Joe Catanzaro forgets his thirty- second birthday. On Friday evening, the night of his birthday, he found it difficult to understand why his Boy Scouts wanted to go indoors instead of playing outdoor games as they usually do. When ho went downstairs at the Janik home he found out why. Mrs. Janik had baked a birthday cake and the boys presented him with a special cap for his birthday. Saturday morning he left the house bright and early for a round of golf and returned to find his home filled w|th family members who had come to rftake it a memorable day for him.
