Why not by the high chair! Just attach a small towel rack to the back of Baby's chair -- keeps everything^, right where you use it most. With ail that lovely sunshine around, summer's the best season for gathering snapshots-- and the easiest time to ruin YOUR CAMERA. Keep it elk-king longer with these special attentions: Don't leave camera in the glove compartment, trunk or rear window ledge of your car when it's parked in the sunheat's bad for film. So is humidity, so don't store film in damp places. If a package gets opened where humidity is high, expose and process as soon as^possible. Sand is one of a camera's wc"st enemies, so always carry it to the beach in a case. If canera happens to fall in sand, brush it off as well as you can with a soft cloth or brush. If it falls into the water, don't keep taking pictures -- even ithcugh film may still be all right -- just dry it off on outside to prevent rusting. When accident does happen at the beach, take camera to a camera shop to be cleaned. Does Dad1 have trouble S T A R T I N G T H E L A W N MOWER? A coql eye-catcher for a summer dessert is a CRANBERRY CREAM PARFAIT. Alternate spoonsful of vanilla ice cream and whole cranberry sauce in tall parfait glasses. Poorly adjusted headlights or faulty lighting equipment can make the hazards much greater . . . both for the driver who Is guilty of careless maintenance and for others whom he encounters on the highway. Undimmed, badly aimed or unllghted headlights can set up a collision course or cause a driver to run off the road. "That fellow is going to kill somebody if he doesn't get those lights adjusted." For safety's sake, have your headlight alignment checked at regular intervals. Most garages are equipped to do this. Adjustment is especially necessary after a front end collision . . . even of the slightest nature. Check your lights (front and rear) before you start your car for a night trip. Replace dim or burned out bulbs with new ones of the proper candle 'power. When checking, be sure to test both dim and bright. Keep the dirt wiped off head and taillight glass. Illinois law requires automobiles to be equipped with two headlights which are visible for at least 500 ft., and at least one red taillight which Is also visible for 500 ft. Headlamps must be lighted during the period from sunset to sunrise, and at any other time when visibility is so limited as to require lights lor safety. A recent law prohibits the opera- . tion of a motor vehicle with ; parking lights only. Get a copy of the NEW Iiunois driver's manual. Write to Charles P.
