Let's all band together and make this, sa!e as successful as they have been in the past. , Fishermen Return Loaded With fish I mean I'm referring 11 Joe and Clara Adams and Otto and Coletta Adams. The foursome made a week lofts trip to Park Falls, Wis., where .they found the fish just waiting to be caught. They nol only had enough for their daily meals, but also brought some along heme for the freezer. The weather, from all reports, was most delightful. New (iramlson In line for eongi atulations this week are Mr. and Mrs. Joe L. Freund. They became grandparents once again last week when their daughter and son-in-law, the Perry Walkers of McHenry, welcomed a son. Best wishes to all. Sportsmen Want Participation This is just a reminder once again that the young men of baseball woukl like to see a few more parents out at their games. This is not an invitation just to parents though The boys will welcome any kind of an audience that will give them some moral support. You know most anyone can play better if they know someone is around watching them, 'lhe Majors play here on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Minors on Monday and Friday, and the eight-year-olds on Thursday. The Majors are in uniform this year. Why not try to get out and see a few of the games? The boys will certainly apprecate it. Don't forget we also have a hard ball team, namely the Tigers, who play every Sunday, and two softbalf teams, Hettermanns and the Dog House, who play on either Tuesdays or Thursdays at the V.F.W. diamond in McHenry. These fellows would also like some grandstand participation. Exchange Marriage Vows The former Marilyn Fuchs became Mrs. Allan Etherige in a beautiful ceremony which took place in St. John's church on June. 12. Later .in the day many of their friends and relatives joined in extending their best wishes to the newlyweds for a most happy future. We also send along our good wishes to them. Joint Graduation Parties Patsy and Jim Meyers shared the spotlight in their home recently when they were guests of honor at a joint graduation party. They are the children of Si and Bonnie Meyers. Patsy received her diploma from St. John's school and Jim is a recent graduate of the McHenry high school. Many relatives and friends were in the Meyers home to participate in the celebration. Cousins Jean and Joy Hettermann were honored with a graduation party last . Tuesday evening in the Gerry Hcttermann home. Both girls were in the St. John's graduating class. Joining in the buffet <upper were the John Herdrich family and Fran Mayfield of McHenry. the Bowe family of Woodstock, Dick and Connie Marshall, Bill May. the Gerald Wakitsch and the Dick Rudolph families, aill of this vicinity, and the Phil Bartmann family of Island Lake. WILSON His last .worship service was given by Rev. Ralph Wilson at Spring Grove Methodist church on Sunday, June 13. A farewell party was given for Pastor Wilson and his family in the church house on that day. His new assignment is in the Harmon and Nelson churches in the DeKalb district. Rev. Louis Hillendahl, a graduate of Scarrett college, Nashville. Tenn., will take over the duties of Spring Grove church as well as Ingleside. He has been in Florida. One year ago he, his wife and two children returned from Southern Rhodesia, where he was in the mission field. They will reside in the parsonage in Ingleside. A dinner was given in the Deibert Kephart on Wednesday evening in his honor. Members of the church were present to meet the new pastor and his family. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. every Sunday in Spring Grove.
