Main St. Phone 885-0294 McHenry, DL COOPERATION IN IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM URGED Three years ago, through cooperation with the local doctors, the City Council promoted an immunization program aimed at the dread disease, polio. The response was so great that members of the medical profession fee.l" gratified with results. While a continuation of the program is not expected to reach great proportions, all persons not having taken advantage of the immunization plan are urged at this time to contact the local health officer, Dr. Peter H. Griesbach. At a meeting last week with a representative of the Baxter and Woodman engineering firm of Crystal Lake, the McHenry City Council decided to engage thi? firm to make a survey of w^ter and sewer facilities to determine present and future needs. W'ith the expansion of the area of the city and the indication of further annexations in the next few years, the Council sees the need of a definite plan. A previous survey assured the Council of adequate facilities for growth, but a longer range program will now be prepared.
