BRUSCATO-BUXTQN NUPTIAL RITE AT CHRIST THE KING Charleston, South Carolina, will be the new home for the former Eileen Bruscate, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold J. Bruscato of 4322 E. Lake Shore drive, Wonder Lake. Eileen and Jack Buxton were married at 3 p.m. in Christ the King church on Oct. 30. Father James Vanderpool officiated at the ceremony. Baskets of white and blue stock and white mums adorned the altar of the church. The bride wore a sheath gown with detachable train made of silk-faced peau de soie trimmed in aleneon lace with tapered sleeves and a scoop neckline. Her three-tiered silk illusion bouffant veil was held in place by a bonnet of peau de soie trimmed in lace. She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses and stephariotis with a separate corsage "of white roses centered in the bouquet. Attendants for the bride were Mrs. Kitty Marr of Mineral Point, Wis., sister of the bride, who served as matron of honor, and Miss Rita Palzkill of Madison, Wis., Miss Linda Marisr field of Wonder Lake, Miss Ann Koehler of McHenry. and Miss Paula Arden, a cousin of the SARAH RUSSELL WED IN DOUBLE RING CEREMONY Orange, gold, yellow and bronze mums -and gladioli formed the setting in Christ the King church Oct. 30 when Father Vanderpool united in marriage Sarah Marie Russell and Gerald Gayeski. The bride is a daughter of the John T. Russells of Highland Shores, Wonder Lake, and the groom is the son of the Michael Gayeskis of Chicago Heights. Miss Stephanie Konen of Woodstock was soloist for the 3 p.m. nuptial Mass. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a satin peau de soie gown fashioned with a sculptured neckline, fitted bodice and long pointed sleeves. Re-embroidered chantilly lace highlighted the bodice and the sheath skirt. A chapel l e n g t h t r a i n c o m p l e t e d t h e gown. Her silk illusion, threetiered veil fell from a nylon petaled tulip crown adorned with pearls, iridescent sequins and crystals. Maid of honor to the bride was her sister, Susan Russell. Two close friends, Charlene Diedrich and Marsha Tonyon, both of McHenry, served as bridesmaids. All three girls wore tangerine-colored satin, floor length gowns with detachable floating panels fashioned with one bow at the neckline. Matching flowered crowns were worn graced with pearls and four tiered maline bouf f a n t veils. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of white elegance carnations and stephanotis. Her attendants carried half-circle bouquests of bronze and yellow mums, tangerine carnations and eroton leaves. The mother of the bride wore a gold crepe dress with a chantilly lace fitted bolero jacket, a gold sequin pill box hat, and a corsage of gold and bronze pompom mums. The groom's mother wore a pink sheath with matching color pill-box hat. Her corsage was of bronze pompom mums. Joseph Clement of Macomb, 111., a classmate of the groom, served him as best man. Neil McCauley of Oswego, 111., also a classmate, and Joseph Azzaro of Woodstock served as groomsmen. A reception for 350 guests, with a cocktail hour from 4 to 6 p.m. and a dinner-dance after 6 p.m., was held at the V.F.W. hall in Woodstock. The, bride is employed as a telephone operator in Woodstock. The groom is a student at Western Illinois university in Macomb. . The newlyweds will spend their honeymoon in the Ozarks. For! Miss Arden is from Qak Park. Dawn Marr, niece of the bride, was flower girl. The matron of honor wore a royal blue, floor length gown of acetate shantung, with threequarter length sleeves, scoop neckline and a train in the back connected to a bow at the back of the neckline. The empire waist was trimmed in light blue. T h e bridesmaids' dresses were of the same design with the exception of the colors being reversed. The tiny flower girl's dress was the same as that of her mother, the matron of honor. All the girls carried cascade bouquets of white, carnations trimmmed in pale blue n e t . T h e i r h e a d p i e c e s w e r e bows with three seeel pearl loops holding the matching veils. Serving the groom as best man was Tom O'Brien of Wonder Lake. Groomsmen were Ron Haas of Dubuque, Iowa, Sam Bruscato, brother of the bride, Dick Marr of Mineral Point, Wis., and Steve Ziemblicki of Chicago, a cousin of the bride. The groom, who is in the U.S. Navy Submarine service with a rating of T.M. 3 (SS), ""is stationed on the U.S.S. Sam Rayburn based at Charleston, South Carolina. He is the son of Jack S. Buxton of Toronto, Ohio. The mother of the bride wore a three-piece pale blue metallic suit with matching accessories and a white orchid corsage for her daughter's wedding. For the reception she wore a floor length gown of light pink brocade. A reception for ninety guests was held at 4 p.m. at the McHenry Country club. A fourtiered cake trimmed *with white frosting and blue flowers carried out the blue and white theme of the wedding. A champagne fountain was at the receiving line. After a honeymoon in Virginia the young couple will be at home at 212 B Hickory avenue, Charleston, S.C. The bride was fornerly employed at the Oaks in Crystal Lake. Phillips of 7514 Center drive, Wonder Lake. Rev. John M. Dording officiated at the 1 o'clock nuptial Mass which was performed at St. John the Baptist Catholic church, Johnsburg. Two bouquets of orangd and white flowers decorated the altar. Pretty, dark - haired Miss Weber chose a floor length gown of cut velvet on white satin, the bodice fashioned with oval neckline and long, tapered sleeves. Her semi-full skirt swept into a chapel length train. She wore on her head a double crown of aurora borcalis with imported illusion bouffant veil and carried a cascade of white spidery chrysanthemums. Attending Miss Weber were Mrs. Robert (Elaine) Otis of Crystal Lake, her cousin, as matron of honor, Mrs. Donald (Patti) Weber, Mrs. Gerald (Georgette) Sobiesk and Miss Mary Lou Wakitsch of McHenry, friends, and Miss Marilyn Smith of McHenry, another cousin, as bridesmaids. They were attired in floor length dresses of orange crepe cut in empire lines, with jackr ets of matching brocade and slyled with oval necklines and short sleeves. On their heads they wore orange petals with blusher veils and carried cascade arrangements of fall foilage with yellow and bronze small mums, each with matching orange ribbons. Robert Nolan of McHenry served his close friend as best man and groomsmen were Richard Michaels and Jerry Blake of McHenry. friends, Thomas Majercik of Wonder Lake, his brother, and Bill Huff of Richmond, a friend. Mrs. Weber selected a royal blue, two-piece sheath dress with blue sequined hat _ and matching accessories. Her corsage was of yellow cymbidium orchids. Mrs. Phillips wore a beige brocade sheath with three-quarter length coat, blue accessories and a similar corsage. Following the ceremony, at 5:30 o'clock, 400 guests gathered in the Johnsburg Community clubhouse for an evening reception. After a trip to Las Vegas and California for two weeks, the newlyweds will take up residence at 2204 W. Johnsburg road. The bride graduated in 1960 from McHenry high school where the groom completed his education four years earlier. He is a printer for Callaghan & Co., Mundelein, and, Mrs. Majercik is a secretary at McHenry State Bank. Couple Plans June Wedding SUSAN AHLGRIM Mr. and Mrs. Albert G. Susan Justen and Joseph Schaefer were married Nov. 17, 1915, at St. Mary's church by Rev. Edward Berthold. Their attendants were Marcella Kennebeck Weingart and Pauline Kennebeck Nimsgern as flower girls, Theresa Kennebeck Freund (Mrs. Peter A.) and Celia Schaefer Adams (Mrs. Frank) all living, and three deceased, Catherine Frett, John R. Justen and Fred Schaefer. The Schaefers have two children Elmer Schaefer of Woodstock and Eleanor Miller 'Mrs. Alfred) of Rin^wood; five grandchildren, Ronald, James and Elaine Schaefer of Woodstock and Edward and Thomas Miller of Ringwood. Lilymoor Women Sponsor Bazaar The Lilymoor women's auxiliary announces a holiday hazaar to be held at Justen's furniture store on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 12 and 13. Many items will be on display, all of which are hand made by members. All items are gifts that are "different". Proceeds from the bazaar are to be used for community improvement and Christmas gifts for the children.
