As part of the intensified membership drive, former members are being contacted, and many prospective members are being invited to join. "This news story also is a cordial invitation for people to join the association," said Dan Andrew, public relations chairman for the hospital which has patients from throughout McHenry county. The need for members is simple and vital. The members of the association form the legal entity that selects the board of directors and gives the hospital a thriving, informed organization. The greater the membership the better informed will citizens be concerning the hospital ---its problems, its opportunities, its outstanding service. This group can also help in discussions concerning the future services and the need for eventual expansion of staff members and facilities, said Andrew. One reason for the membership drive now is to sign as many members as possible by Dec. 31. That is the deadline to join in order to be eligible to vote at the annual meeting in late January. I., as an ensign in the Navy and is home on a week's leave. Upon his return to duty his wife, the former Joan Nell, will accompany him to Athens, Ga„ where he will attend supply officers' school. Many comments were heard on the fine play presented by the junior class. Considerable dramatic experience made Sue Stinespring an excellent choice • for the lead role of Clementine and she was ably supported by a talented cast.
