The little bundle of joy weighed in at 7 lbs., 12 oz., and measured 20 inches long. The baby was named Paula Marie and all reports are that she is already quite the little charmer. There are three girls, Cheri, Jeanie and Renee Janquart; who dese.rve a big bouquet for their thought fulness when Teena O'Malley was so sick. These girls took turns staying with Teena, at night, and seeing that she and the children were taker! care of before they went to school: Good work girls. Kay Sielisch just returned from a week in Cadillac, Mich. The trip wasn't exactly pleasure, her mother and sister were ill and Kay went to take care of things. While there her visit was saddened by the death of. an uncle and cousin. Kay reports she is very glad to be back home so she can care for husband, Wally, who is still recovering from surgery. Don't know about you, but this dog situation is really getting me disturbed. They are now running in packs, besides the damage to yards and the dumping of garbage they are scaring the little ones to the point where they won't even go out. If people want dogs I should think they would have the common sense to take care of them. Dogs belong in the home or tied in the yards, not running loose. FOR THE CHURCH The Church is the greatest factor on earth for the building of character and good citizenship. It is a storehouse of spiritual values. Without a strong Church, neither democracy nor civilization can survive. There are four sound reasons why every person should attend services regularly and support the Church. They are: (1) For his own sake. (2) For his children's sake. (3) For the sake of his community and nation. (4) For the sake of the Church itself, which needs his moral and material support. Plan to go to church regularly and read your Bible daily. We don't consider ft eavesdropping to "hear" oar children's prayers. Nor is it too much trouble! In fact, it is part of oar responsibility to God. For Mollie and Ted are His children, too. Parents are partners with--not substitutes for--our Heavenly Father. It is this sense of partnership that has brought faith and the Church into the Kfe of our family. We are not foolishly depending cm our mere adulthood to inspire character in them. We do not command that they do what we say, not what we da And we never sit at home while they are in Church, as though the truth they have gone to seek weren't worth a grownup's effort. We figure God wants as at the listening post, to monitor their spiritual searchings, to share with them the blessings He has given us alL Copyright 1968 Ksfctr AdtmHting Soviet, Inc., Stixubuig, Fa Sunday Exodus 18:13-23 Monday Deuteronomy 3:9-13 Tuesday John 13:12-20 Wednesday Romans 10:14-21 Thursday Colossians 1:3-14 Friday I Timothy 4:6-16 Saturday Hebrews 5:7-14 | <112? t <siz> t <si2? t t <Si2? t <si2? t <s±2? t <Tt7> + <xt77 + + <xf» ST.
