LEVESQUE (Editorial) With the reapportionment the 33rd district is made up now of Boone, Kendall, DeKalb and the major portions of McHenry and Kane Counties. McHenry County is fortunate to have a capable and worthy candidate on the Republican ticket in J. R. (Jake) Levesque, of McCullom Lake. Jake Levesque has been a very trusted and able assistant deputy treasurer under State Treasurer William J. Scott. Levesque is the only Republican candidate running for this office in Mc- Heriry County in this newly established 33rd district and this newspaper feels for the good of McHenry County you should place your cross in the square opposite Jake Levesque's name. We feel it very important that McHenry County be strongly represented in Springfield as it would be with this qualified man. Levesque handles the administration of the inheritance tax division of the State Treasurer's office. He is the McHenry County Republican Chairman and has served as Mayor of McCullom Lake for 10 years. Mr. Levesqiie is very ably qualified on the basis of legislative and administrative experience. We heartily endorse him and recommend that you give him your vote so we may be assured that McHenry County will have strong representation in Springfield in one state legislature.
