Attends Wedding In Chicago^ ; The Ed Hettermann family, Mrs. Mary Hettermann and family,: and Mr.. and Mrs. Bob Hettermann were in Chicago last Saturday to participate in the wedding of Patty Boyk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Boyk. The group attended the church service and later the receptioty for the -bride and groom. j; Bake Sale Notes .The C.Y.J, conducted a most Successful bake sale. They Will 1in need of all types of homebaked articles also. If you can ?tlp after one of the Masses,, ease contact Dorothy. f People On The Go ^Joe and Vera Huemann along iiWth Pete and Martha Smith ^turned recently from a most successful fishing trip near Bloomer, Wis. The foursome spent a week there and claim the fishing was absolutely terrific. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Michels and their two daughters, Barbara and Marilyn, took Melinda Might to her home for the summer. Miss Might, who resides in Chicago, is a niece of Clara's. They made the trip to Warner-Robbins in Georgia to fhe home base of Melinda's family, Lt. Col. and Mrs. Gerjjald Might. The Michels family l;spent an enjoyable week the^e 'where they did many interesting things. They were in (Atlanta one day where they saw the Mets play ball and visited with Chuck Hiller, who needless to say, was happy as •jvell as surprised to see someone from home. They also Visited Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mueller (he is from our area originally). Mr. Mueller was In the hospital recuperating from a most serious operation. ' When Mr. and Mrs. Frank Freund, Martha Freund and Mrs. Clarence Miller of Spring Grove returned recently from attending a funeral in Stdcyvjlle, Iowa, they brought back yyith them Sister Othmar of jMeirose Park. Later that day *Agnes, Martha and Virginia jpitzen took Sister Othmar to e r home where she is a $eacher. * Mrs. Jack Laures and children, Matt and Susie, recently •spent several days here with J*r parents, Joe and Vera •Huemann, and other family mfembers. Susie was flower girl in a wedding party that was $lHd in Woodstock during their Short stay. Pat spent sometime Renewing her acquaintances With girl friends while she was here. The threesome flew to their home in California and rest of their family after too brief a stay according to ir family here. Home On Furlough Rudy Fisher, soldier son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Fisher of Mehring Avenue flew in last week to s^end a long furlough with his family. Gregory's attentive "big sister" was also in attendance. Brand New Grandson "Jam and Pat Tomasello are ^boasting of their new grand Son even though they have not st^pn him as yet. Steven Earle, tyas born to Mr. and Mrs. icky Grieg, of Roseyille, ich., on June 15. The young lad weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. at feiirth and is the first child for .the young couple. Th& Toma S£llos hope to get acquainted with him as soon as his father can get time off from Uncle Sam's army to make the trip here. Ricky, as you will remember, recently re-enlisted for six years.
