With the holiday season almost upon us.it might be a good idea to have access to a few quickie recipes with which you are already familiar. The following recipe is not exactly a quickie but it can be prepared several days in advance and it will keep beautifully. In fact, the flavor improves by the second day. The Solvation Army gives them the chance to bridge the distance by sending a personal gift to their youngsters. And experienced Salvation Army officers help them prepare wisely for release and reunion with their families. STATE WILL SET RECORD LICENSE MAILING DATE Mailing of 1967 motor vehicle license plates began on Tuesday, Nov. 15, and all plates representing reassigned numbers will be in the mail by Dec. 15. Placing all reassigned numbers in the mail by Dec. 15 establishes a new record for delivery of those numbers. Mr. Powell said. New procedures and improved physical facilities have made it possible to separate those plates from the others without waiting for them to be reached^ in the normal numerical and alphabetical order, he said. This also marks the second consecutive year that mailing of plates started on Nov. 15, the earliest date in the history of the Secretary of State Paul Powell's office. Secretary Powell warned m o t o r i s t s r e c e i v i n g t h e i r plates early that the law prohibits displaying them on the vehicles before Dec. 1. T^e license plate envelope carries a prominently displayed warning about that requirement of the law. The deadline for displaying 1967 plates will be no latei* than February 15, and possibly earlier, Mr. Powell said.
