Memorial Hospital Woodstock Among the patients admitied to Memorial hospital, Woodstock, during the past week were Robert Korr, Elizabeth Michels, Peter Schwab, Lucille Ix)rkwood, Helen Gagny, Diane Pawlik, Stanley Kolodzieg, Fred Patrick and Master Thomas Rauscher, McHenry; Mary Owens, Marian Hayes, Master Robert Kotyza, Florence Griswold, Alan Gigna and Olga Murphy, Wonder Lake. Obituaries JUDY ANN KETCHUM Judy Ann Ketchum, infant daughter of Howard R. (Sully) and Beatrice Smith Ketchum, died Sunday morning, Dec. 4, at Memorial hospital, Woodstock, where she was born early Saturday, the third. In addition to her parents, the baby is survived by her paternal grandfather, Howard Roy Ketchum, Sr., of Burton's Bridge; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Smith of Sharon, Wis. ;two brothers, Sully Roy and Johnnie Dale; and a sister, Nancy Ann. Graveside services were con ducted at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon in the Linn-Hebron cemetery, with Rev. David Bergstrom of Hebron Methodist ' hurch officiating. KATHERINE B. HINZ A funeral Mass was sung Tuesday morning in Christ the King Catholic church, Wonder Lake, for Mrs. Katherine B. Hinz, 71, of 4507 E. Wonder Lake road, Wonder Lake, who died Sunday, Dec. 4, in Memorial hospital, Woodstock. Burial was in the church cemetery. The deceased was born March 8, 1895, in Chicago, daughter of William and Anna Barry. She was married in 1916 in Chicago to John Hinz, who survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Frederick, of Wonder Lake; a grandchild, Judy Frederick; a brother, William J. Barry, Chicago; and a brother-in-law, Mathew J. Hinz, of Wonder Lake. The body rested at the Schneider- Leucht, Merwin- Cooney funeral home. Harvard Hospital Elmer Huebner, A 1 v i n Blake, Mary Witta. Alfred Slratford and Mrs. Louie Hager, McHenry: and Justus Kellner, Mrs. Robert Fitzl and Forrest Pulley of Wonder Lake were patients during the prist week in Harvard hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fitzpatrick of Fox Lake are parents of a son Nov. 28. On Nov. 28 a son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Wilcox, of Crystal Lake. A daughter was born Nov. 30 to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fish of Alden. Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Smith of Fox Lake are parents of a son born Nov. 30. A Crystal Lake couple, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hewitt, are parents of a daughter Nov. 30. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore W r o b l e w s k i j ^ n o u n d e t h e birth of a daughter Nov. 30. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Messer became parents of a daughter Dec. 3. A son was born Dec. 3 to Mr. and Mrs. Larry Brasta0. LONNIE SMITH Lonnie L. Smith, 73, a resident of 800 W. Harrison lane, McHenry, died Sunday evening, Dec. 4, in Memorial hospital Woodstock. Mr. Smith was born July 18, 1893, in Ringwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Smith. He was married to Ethel Harrison in 1916, and she preceded him in death in 1959. Mr. Smith farmed forty years in the Ringwood area before his retirement. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Benoy of Elkhorn, Wis., Mrs. Dorothy Krein of McHenry and Mrs. Ellen Wurtzinger of Woodstock; three sons, Charles of McHenry, Frank of Lake Geneva, Wis., and Samuel of Carp e n t e r s v i l l e ; t w e n t y - f o u r grandchildren and seven g r e a t - g r a n d c h i l d r e n ; t w o brothers, Ralph Smith of Rice Lake, Wis., and John of Ringwood; and a sister, Mrs. Ilopper, of Skokie. The body rested at the Schneider - Leucht -Merwin- Cooney funeral home in Woodstock until 1 :.n)0 Jhursday when last rites were held. Burial was in Harrison-Carr ( cmetery. PITZEN Michael "M. Pitzen of 904 N. River road, McHenry died Thursday, Dec. 1, at Memorial hospital, Woodstock, following a long period of poor health. For the past two years he had resided at the Woodstock Residence. Mr. Pitzen, 76, was born in Volo Feb. 23, 1890, and resided in this community all his life. He was well known a m o n g M c H e n r y ' s y o u n g folks during the twenty years in which he was a bus driver for the public school system. His wife, Eva, died Dec. 16, 1962. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Vera) Diedrich of McHenry and Mrs. Charles (Edith) Herendeen of Crystal Lake; two g r a n d c h i l d r e n , s i I T g r e a t - grandchildren; two brothers, Peter of Lake Geneva, Wis., and Frank of McHenry; four sisters, Mrs. Lena Schroeder of Grayslake, Mrs. Josephine Miller of Long Lake, Mrs. Rose Obenauf of Zion and Mrs. Frances Chamberlain of Chicago. Three sisters and one brother preceded him in death. The body rested at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home until Monday morning at 10 o'clock, when a Mass was sung at St. Mary's Catholic church. Interment was in the church cemetery. HENRY H. PETERS Henry H. (Spook) Peters of 611 S. McHenry avenue, McHenry .died early this week of injuries sustained when he fell from a scaffold while at work in Libertyville. Mr. Peters, 63, had been a local resident for seven years. He was well known locally and was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church. He also was past master of Advance Lodge, No. 1098, Chicago, and of Consistory Medinah Shrine. Survivors are his wife, Reva; two daughters, Karen and Mrs. Benjamin (Sharon) Tibbs; and three grandchildren, Debora, Julie and Nancy Tibbs. Waggoner of Rt. 1 .Huntley. Secretary of State Paul Powell has announced the drivers' license division of his office has rescinded the suspension of the license of John E, Yazel, Crystal Lake. This action was taken following receipt of information from the Circuit court of Woodstock that a previous report of bond forfeiture on charges of speeding and improper passing on left was in error and that the case was not prosecuted.
