Voung People • Engaged To Wed MTA mURLWELL Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thui well of 3611 W. Main street, McHenry, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rita, to Mr. James Thennes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thennes of 1212 N. Court street. No date has been set for the wedding. Miss Thurlwell graduated in 1965 from McHenry high school and her fiance from Marian high school the previous year. He is now in Army service and expects to leave soon for Okinawa. JAIL SENTENCE Gerald Mayfield of McHenry was sentenced by Judge Charles S. Parker to sixty days in the county jail for contempt of court when his case was heard in Circuit court last Friday. A previous court order had1 directed Mayfield to stay away from a juvenile, girl, which he failed to do.
