ATTENTION PARENTS It has been brought to our attention that there is much misbehaving at the bus shelter. Maybe some of you are not aware of the fact that in back of the bus shelter is a spring which makes that area very wet and swamp like. The weeds grow tall and the children have been using them for switches and throwing them in the air. They are also running on private property and fighting. Children who take the 8 a.m. bus have an eighth grade patrol boy who does his best to keep order. This is the only bus time that has a patrol. If possible do not send your children too early to the shelter and please discuss this matter with them. Ihidren's Pet Puppy Shet A seven month pup which was normally tied up got loose and was shot with a 22. Not only did the pup suffer all day before it died, so did the small children who owned the pup. ^Granted there are far too many dogs running loose in the subdivision and we are all complaining about it, but to shoot a pup and let it suffer is inhuman. You who are shooting a 22 off in the subdivision better check with the police. You are not allowed to shoot a 22 or any other kind of gun in a populated area. You could very well have shot a human. Many bullets haVe been known to miss the target and hit someone. If you know who the dog owner is go to them about their dog running loose. If they don't want to do anything about it go to the police mid see what you can do about it in the legal way. AUXILIARY NEWS The Woman's auxiliary held its monthly meeting Monday, March 6.
