Zank, 20, son of Chris A. Zank, 1308 W. Rt. 120, and Army Specialist Four Robert R. Kosiek, 20. whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Kosiek, and wife, Brenda, live at 308 \V. Broadway, McHenry, are members of a unit which has earned a meritorious unit commendation award in Vietnam. The presentation was made Feb. 22 near Qui Nhon. The citation presented to the men of the 27th Transportation battalion was awarded for "meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services in support of military operations in the Republic of Vietnam from October, 1965, to April, 1966." The truck battalion traveled over five million miles of Viet Cong-infested highways, hauling cargo and petroleum products to friendly combat forces. Spec.
