Mr. Mars was born Aug. 11, 1898, in Chicago, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mars. Survivors are his widow, Kathleen (O'Brien) Mars, to» whom he had been married forty- three years; one son, William F. ARTHUR SCHMIDT Arthur Schmidt was found dead of an apparent heart attack in his home at 713 N. High view, Lakeland Park, about 9:40 Tuesday morning by his son, Raymond, and neighbors. FLORA KITT Mrs. Flora H.K!tt, 80, of7512 W. Maple drive, Wonder Lake, was pronounced dead on arrival at Memorial hospital, Woodstock, Monday, April 3, after suffering a stroke. Mrs. Kitt^born Jan. 18; 1887, in Centratfa, 111., had resided at Wonder Lake for the past twenty-nine years. Among survivors is her husband, Lavirrence. Local arrangements were made at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home. The body was later transferred to the Drakg & Son chapel at 5303 N. Western avenue, Chicago, where services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
