Caroline street, Crystal Lake, and Mr. Brian Edward O'Mai ley of Mc Henry, son of Mrs. June O'Mai ley of Chicago and the late Edward CH Mai ley. ; Mr. CK Mai ley is also the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brecht of McHenry. His bride graduated from Marian Central high school in 1962 and attended Northern Illinois university. She is now employed as secretary at Cary-Grove high school. Mr. (? Mai ley is a graduate in 1962 from McHenry high school and is a member of the Crystal Lake police department. After a short honeymoon trip into Wisconsin, the newlyweds are residing in McHenry. Victoria avenue, McHenry, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rosemary, to James Boeing, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Boeing of Lone Tree lane, Lake Zurich. No date has been set for the wedding. Both young people are employed in Barrington. Mr. Boeing will report for naval training at Great Lakes in July. Hold Family Dinner For Jennifer Yegge A family dinner party was held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Motulewicz in honor of the first birthday of their granddaughter .Jennifer Yegge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Yegge. A Donald Duck birthday cake was the center of attraction for Jennifer and she received many lovely presents. J? *i • Grade Musical May 18 A music festival will be held Thursday, May 18, at 8 p.nv in the McHenry Junior high school by choruses and bands of the McHenry grade school*}, Choruses will include the fifth and sixth grades of Edgebrook school and the Junior high school chorus. The instrumental part of the program will be performed by the grade schrol junior band, cadet band, and the concert band. Special numbers by the band will include a flute trio with band accompaniment and a cornet trio with band accompaniment. The chorus and band will join for (me number. There is no admission charge. An exchange student from Brazil, Paulo Lopes, has made his home with them this past year while attending McHenry high school. A niece, Patricia Harris, is also a member of the family. Plan For Art Fair Plans for the eleventh annual McHenry Country Art Fair June IS to 18 are underway with the help of many persons such as this group. The monthly meeting of the McHenry Woman's club will be held at the Community Methodist church at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 19, instead of May 12, due in part to the annual convention of the Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs which is being held at the Sherman House in Chicago, beginning May 9. Members can look forward to some "heady" excitement as Karen Zoephel of Park Ridge ' presents a program entitled "Wig Party." Mrs. Zoephel will bring with her a variety of pieces, including machine wefted wigs, hand tied wigs, wiglets and falls, in a variety of shades.. Several models will also be present. Mrs. Zoephel began her career in cosmetics over twenty years ago and introduced hair goods to her line several years ago. All of her pieces are 100 percent human hair. A blend of the top quality grades of hair are used to give a soft silky wig yet one with body which will hold a style through many wearings. Mrs. Florence Svoboda will conduct the installation of officers at this meeting. Following Mass at St. Patrick's breakfast was served at the home of her godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dobyns, for relatives and Mends. In the afternoon a dinner party was held at the Weber home where the young lady greeted members of her family. Hettermmnn Baby Baptized Recently The infaitf son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hettermann was baptized April 30 at St. Patrick's church at 2 p.m. by Father David Beauvais. His godfather is a cousin, Daniel Hart, of Elmhurst, and the godmother, an aunt Theresa Hettermann of Chicago. A buffet dinner was served following the ceremony at the Hettermann home to twenty guests including the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hettermann and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Mahoney. Jeffrey Kenneth was born March 30 at Memorial Hospital, Woodstock, and has a sister, Traci Lynn, 17 months old. His mother is the former Colleen Jean Mahoney. COLLEGE BOARD CANDIDATE Cal Skinner (Sr.) of Lakewood was among the final ones to file as a candidate for the McHenry County Junior College board election on May 27.
