For twelve years he served as Justice of the Peace of district 3 of McHenry county. He is also a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and the International Typographical Union. Mr. Olsen is a graduate of Northwestern University and served as chairman of the McHenry Plan Commission from 1959 to 1965. He is a member of the Chicago Administrative Management Society and is affiliated with the McHenry Masonic Lodge. Mr. and Mrs. Olsen and their three children are members of the Community Methodist church and have resided in McHenry for fifteen years.
