Schmitt of 2118 Ringwood road, McHenry. Miss Spohr is the daughter of Laverne M. Scalar of 3613 N. James street, Mc- Henry, and Mr. R. Spohr of Sfcottie. The neddine of the dress was adorned with Venice lace and the gown was styled with kubuki sleeves and a floating panel graced the back of her skirt, with a detachable, double, cathodal length train. Her nylon, illusion, two-tiered chapel length veil fell from a tiered bowed half hat crown, repeating the three-tiered effect of the cathedral train. Sits carried a nosegay of white roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Spohr and Mr. Schmitt were married at an 11:30 Mass far which Ft. Danfing officiated and the children's choir sang* Two large bouquets of white roses, daisies and mums decorated the altar, and there were bows on the ends of the pews. Attending Miss Spohr were Miss Muff McKosy of Edina, Mkm., a former Rosary college room mate' of the bride, Miss Gail Reid of McHenry, Miss Evelyn Tamsoges of Chicago, a room mate at Marquette, aid Mrs. Frank Siminick of Cicero, her sister, who acted matron of honor. Ttey were attired similarly in yellow, empire fashion, floor length gowns and wore/bow half hats with maline, floor length two-tiered veils. They carried yellow roses and white daisy pom poms. The bride is a graduate of McHenry high school and received her degree of Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal arts, majoring in Latin, from Marquette university. Miss Maloney is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Maloney of 831 S. Home avenue, Oak Park, and Mr. Birmingham is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Birmingham of 2208 W. Mill lane, McHenry. Rev. Fr. Pritchard officiated at the Mass, for which the nuns sang. The church was decorated with assorted flowers on the altar. Pretty Miss Maloney chose a white, linen A-line dress with train, with scroll work on the neckline, sleeves and at the bottom. A short veil fell from a beaded crown. Attending her were Miss Phyllis Tennert of Oak Park as miad of honor, Miss Mary Pelletier of Oak Park, Miss Theresa Birmingham of McHenry, sister of the groom, and Miss Kathy Tracy of Gait Park as bridesmaids. They were attired similarly in floor length, linen gowns of wild orchid color, styled with back panel and scroll work on the sleeves and panel. Dennis Birmingham of McHenry served his brother as best man and groomsman was the bride's brother, Bill Maloney, of Oak Park.
