The couple observed their fortieth wedding anniversary at a large celebration in Zion church on Jan. 28, 1965. He also leaves one son, Norman C., |of McHenry; two grandchildren; one brother, Walter, of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; »nd one sister, Mrs. Alma Schnarrar of Tulsa. Okla. Visiation will be held at the church from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 ajn. to 1:30 pja. Friday. Pastor C.J. Seegers of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Harvard, will officiate at last rites conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Neighboring pastors will also assist. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a memorial fund for Zion Lutheran church. Funeral arrangements were made by the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home.
