The setting for the lovely reception was a well known restaurant in Ingle side where the guests dined on a delicious meal of roast beef and chicken with all the trimmings. The bridal cake towered over the table in all its taste tantalizing tiers, The music of the band coaxed everyone out onto the dance floor, That night Joyce slept cm a piece of wedding cake, dreaming of another wedding that took place not so very long ago. A L L F O R T H E C H U R C H The Church is the greatest factor on earth for the building, of character and good citizenship. It is a'storehouse of spiritual values. Without a strong Church, neither democracy nor civilization can survive. There are four sound reasons why every person should attend services regularly and support the Church. They are: (1) For his own sake. (2) For his children's sake. (3) For the sake of his community and nation.- (4) For the sake of the Church itself, which needs his mora! and material support. Plan to go to church regularly and read your Bible daily. Copyright 1967 Keister Advertising Service, Inc., Straaburg, Va. nil i Here is an example of a one-aided battle! It's that same old battle between the irresistible force and the immovable object. Study the rounding edges of this massive granite formation. The wind is winning--persuasively and very definitely. Note the deep clefts where chips have fallen from the old block. Rain, snow, ice are the victors here. And see the pines prowing topside on this barren bulk. Each year their roots press deeper into the hidden faults. What does this prove? Well, for one thing it shows that the lifeless rock is no match for the moving, living, growing forces in God's creation. So never overestimate the strength of that stubborn secularism that sometimes appears to dominate our world. In worship and religious pursuit, millions are ^^j^^^^j^linking their souls with the vital spiritual forces \ itrliijth ehn.II nrovAil f Sunday Isaiah 11:1-5 Monday Acts 19:11-20 T uesday Ephesians 2:13-22 Wednesday Cofossians 2:6-12 a. : Thursday 1 Thessalonians 3:6-13 Friday Saturday II Thessalonians 1 Peter 2:13-17 5:6-11 <si2? + ccfr? t <siz> t <3±Z? + orb? + <xb? + <St2? + <Sl2? + ccto + + <si2? t <St2?
