AND MRS, TERRANCE JAMES DORAN The McHenry Community Methodist church was the setting for a lovely wedding on Saturday, Dec. 9, when Miss Kathryn Joelle Barrows exchanged nuptial vows with Mr. Terrance James Doran. Rev. Raymond White officiated at the 5 o'clock candle-light ceremony. Miss Barrows is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Barrows of 1006 S. Hilltop Blvd., McHenry, and her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Doran of 827 N. River road, McHenry. Altar bouquets of white glads, white daisy mums and red carnations decorated the church. The lovely, blonde bride approached the altar wearing a floor length, ivory brocade dress styled with long sleeves, square neckline, empire waistline, modified A-line. Her chapel length train was attached at the waist, accented by a bow veil of her pillbox in ivory brocade, trimmed in seed pearls and crystal sequins. Her bouquet was cascade effect, of tearoses. Mrs. George Williams, of Hoffman Estates, cousin of the bride, acted as matron of honor and her bridesmaid was a sister of the groom, Mrs. Wilfred Blake, Jr., of McHenry. They were attired in matching, floor length dresses of moss green jakarta. The dresses were fashioned with long sleeves, empire waists, both trimmed in ivory lace, along with back panels. They wore matching green jakarta bows with veils as headpieces and had matching shoes. The flower girl, Maureen Blake, niece of the groom, was attired in a floor length moss green velvet dress, with empire waist, short sleeves and back panel trimmed in ivory lace. She wore matching green bow with veil for a headpiece and had matching shoes. Terry Gomoluch of Chicago, friend of the groom, served as best man and groomsman was Wilfred (Bill) Blake, Jr., brother- in-law of the groom. Ushers were Craig Barrows, brother of the bride, and Paul Swanson, friend of the groom. Michael Blake, the groom's nephew, served as ring bearer. The couple will make their home at 29 S. Dryden, Arlington Heights. The bride attended Wisconsin State university at Whitewater and at present isareservationist at the Water Tower, Hyatt House. The bridegroom attended the University of Illinois and graduated from their School of Aviation. He was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity. Mr. Doran is employed at United Airlines at O'Hare Airport, Chicago.
