Donald R. (Butch)Meyer, Jr., arrived home last Wednesday night for a thirty-day leave. He has been serving in Vietnam. In a letter written to his parents, the John Boehms: James W. Doran, A03/c of the U.S. Navy, has asked that his old school friends please write to him. His address is 1478 Bengston drive, Hanford, Calif. Jim is in his fifth year in the service and has made two trips to Vietnam aboard the Aircraft Carrier Ticonderoga, where he was stationed to an Air Squadron. He is at present an instructor in aviation ordinance at a naval base near Hanford. He lives with his wife, Lynn, and l^year old son, Jimmy, at , the Hanford address. Seaman Apprentice Patrick C. Bridwell, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Bridwell of 8816 Shady lane, Wonder Lake /fias completed a refresher / training course off the coast \ of Sap Diego, Calif., aboard She^anti - submarine warfare support aircraft carrier USS Yorktown. During the training period ' the ship stressed combat readiness and held drills in fighting simulated fires.
