Lakeberg, 82, of 4510 Lakewood road, McCulIom Lake, died Monday, Dec. 18, at Simpson House, Elgin, following an illness of about a year and a half. Mr. Lakeberg was bora Sept. 14, 1885 in Dolarna, Sweden, and came to this country at the age of 17. He was a retired contractor. Since 1953 be had resided permanently at McCulIom Lake, but had been a summer resident for forty years. The deceased was a member of Masonic Lodge, AF & AM, and the Community Methodist church. Survivors are his daughter, Mrs. Richard (Marian) Barrows; two grandchildren, Craig Barrorws and Mrs. Terrance Doran; two brothers and tnro sisters; and oik niece, Mrs. Myrtle Ohman, who made her home with him. Miss Frances Vycital left Monday to spend the holidays with her sister, Mrs. Helen Fowler, and family in Tulsa, Okla. From there she. will go to Florida to spend the winter, with her sister, Mrs. Arthur Hoppe, and husband.
