Graham of 715 South Cook street Barrington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Vickie, to Ronald Vycital, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Vycital, 3301 West Crescent drive, McHenry. Miss Graham is presently a student at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and will be graduating in June., Mr. Vycital is a military policeman in the United States Army stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash. Prior to the service, Ron also was a student at Southern. Upon his discharge next fall, he plans to finish his education. No wedding date has been set. Amy Ann Bassi Is Christened Amy Ann Bassi, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Bassi, was christened atSt. Mary's Catholic church Sunday, Dec. 24 by Rev. Father Matthew Rudden. Sponsors were her sister, Victoria, and brother, John. A delicious turkey dinner was served at the home of her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Schmitt. The paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lee Bassi, was a guest. The baby also met all of her uncles and aunts, as well as all of her cousins. A special treat was a visit from Santa Claus who brought, gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bentley of Ingleside are parents of a son Dec. 21. A Fox Lake couple, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kohl, became parents of a daughter Dtec. 23. MACDONALD.SR. £ Services were held Wednesday afternoon in a Joliet funerals home for Nornian A. Macdonald, Sr., 86, of 204 N. Raynor avenue, Joliet, who died Dec. 24 in Silver Cross hospital, Joliet. He was a retired vice-president and secretary of the Kaiser-Ducett Construc- > tion Co., of Joliet. Besides his widow, Josephine, he is survived by two sons, Norman A., Jr., and John J.t eleven grandchildren; four great -grandchildren and one sister. SILENCE G. MOLLENAAR A funeral Mass will be siug at 11 o'clock Friday morning in St. Ann's Episcopal church, Woodstock, for Mrs. Silence G. Moolenaar. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery, Barrington. Mrs. Mollenaar, a resident of 3205 Hilltop drive, Wonder Lake, died in her home early Wednesday, Dec. 27. Survivors are her husband, Peter; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Ida May) Otto of Chicago. Miss Delores E. Robinson of Joliet and Mrs. George (Maxine) Wold of Wonder Lake; two sons, George D. Robinson of Chicago and Hugh A. Robinson of Addison; also ten grandchildren. Arthur Gafke of Fort Atkinson, Wis., and dinner guests that evening were Miss Villa Smith of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs. Granger Smith of Elgin. Mr. and Mrs. William Jordan were Christmas eve guests in the home of their son, William, in Downers Grove. Tom Blake, who has been .serving in Germany for several months, was released from service and returned to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Blake, last week. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Olsen entertained at a family gettogether on Christmas. Their guests were the Junior Leslie Olsen family of Crystal Lake, Mr. and Mrs. James Kline and son of Woodstock, Misses Myra and Edna Speaker of Richmond and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Low and Bobby. Mrs. Robert Conway was happy to receive a holiday telephone call from her daughter, Judy, from Stockholm, Sweden, in which she wished to be re1- membered to her many friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Patzke and children were visitors in the Feltz - Patzke home Tuesday. They were enroute from a visit with her parents in Eagle River, Wis., to their home in Champaign. Mrs. A.M. Dohm was in Chicago Saturday where she attended the silver wedding of Dr. and Mrs. Dale Rold of Oak Park held at the Conrad Hilton hotel. Dr. Henry Freund, Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Wirtz, Mr. and Mrs. Joe E. Freund and Joann spent Christmas in the Jack Wirtz home in Elgin. Other guests were Father Hettermann of S. Beloit, Wis., Mrs. Ernestine Christian of Chicago and Jack Leonard of St. Charles. Antonson and son, Mike, of Martins- Lilymoor Man To Claim Bride Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gram of 2051 E. 93rd Street, Chicago, announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan, to Lawrence Schuerr, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schuerr, Sr., of Lilymoor. The bride-to-be is a senior at Northern Illinois university, DeKalb, and Lawrence is stationed at Beaufort, S.C. with the Marines. No definite wedding-date has been set. HENRY M. KOENIG, SR. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon for Henry M. Koenig, Sr., of McHenry, who died Christmas Day. Interment was in Acacia Park cemetery. The deceased had been an employee of the Rollins, Burdick, Hunter Co. Survivors are his widow, Eleanore; one son, Henry M., of Pistakee Highlands; two grandchildren; and one sister, Pauline Parduhn. Attorney Joseph Bauer of Oshkosh, Ms., was also a guest for Christmas. Sister Mary Tauliss of the Sisters of Mercy, Chicago, spent Christmas with her mother, Mrs. Stella Graham. Mr. and Mrs. William Stilling, daughter, Beth Ann, and Miss Nancy Whiting of Glen Ellyn spent several days in the Sebre Whiting home. Miss Joann Whiting, a student at Whitewater college, is spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sebre Whiting. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Collins, former McHenry residents entertained at a family get-together on Christmas in their new home in Sanford, Fla. Mrs. Burnis M. Cochrane, widow of Eugene H. Cochrane, wu a guest. Mrs. Collins will be remembered as the former Zoe Cochrane. Bonodictlon at 7:45 clock in the church will be followed fay the mooting. Later, cards and visiting will be enjoyed.
