I I Junior High Dance Planned A dance for the Junior high school boys and girls will be held on Friday, Jan. 12, as a kick-off the winter quarter program activities of the Lake Region YMCA. A musical group, will play for the dance. Youth in junior high schools in the Lake Region YMCA service area are invited to attend and bring their Mends. Large groups make the dances more exciting for everyone. The doors open at 7:10 p,m. and the dancing begins at 7:30 p.m. and continues until 10 p.m. Adequate adult supervision is present for every dance. School dres s must be worn by youth* Parents are requested to make provisions to see that their youth are picked up at the conclusion of the dance, since the Village Hall is in a secluded area. , Refreshments are served during the dance free of charge. Dances are free to members of the YMCA, and the nonmember charge is nominal. Interested participants in the Lake Region YMCA's Young Adults club are invited to attend when the group meets on Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. at the apfurtment of Miss Mary Ann Bock, 50l2 W. Northwest Highway, Fox River Grove, for refreshments and sociability. At 9:15 p.m. the group will travel to Crystal Lake for the evening's entertainment which is bowling at the Crystal Lake Crystal Bowl. The newly formed club is open for membership to any single man or woman, aged 18 to 35, residing in the Lake Region YMCA's service area who is looking for companionship and activities geared to their interests. The group has decided on a regular meeting schedule of the second Thursday and the fourth Friday of every month and are looking for additional members to help make the club more varied and interesting. Graduated from Marian Central Catholic high school in 1961, Miss Charles received a B.A. degree from Rosary college, River Forest, in 1965 with further study at the University of Michigan, Northern Illinois university and National College of Education. Miss Charles is currently employed as a teacher at Hilltop school, McHenry. Joseph Mach, son of Mrs. Joseph Mach and the late Mr. Mach of Detroit, was graduated from Marmion Military academy, Aurora, in 1961, and from Georgetown wiiversity, Washington, D.C, in 1965. He plans to receive his Doctor of Medicine degree from the'University of Michigan next year.v A June 22 wedding is planned. HELEN WORST Funeral services were conducted last Thursday from the K.K. Hamsher chapel in Fox Lake for Miss Helen ^forst, 76, of Spring Grove, who died Jan. 2 in her home. Burial was in St. Boniface cemetery, Chicago. MARY T. (MAYME) FAHEY Miss Mary T. (Mayme) Far hey, 89, of 2207 Fair view avenue, JohnSburg, died Jan. 4 in the Aurora Borealis nursing home, Aurora, where she had been confined for two months. Miss Fahey, a seven-year resident of the area, was born in Chicago July 30, 1878. She was a retired medical secretary for a Chicago clinic. Three sisters and three bro- WESLEY WILSON Last rites were conducted Monday afternoon in the Suerth funeral home, Chicago, for Wesley R. Wilson, 63, of 4706 Gregory street, Whispering Hills, McHenry, who died Jan. 12 in McHenry hospital. A member of the Pioneers of America, he was also past master of the Ben Hur lodge, AF & AM, Scottish Rites Bodies Valley of Chicago and Medinah Temple, A.A.Q.N.MJS.
